I have a few but the one that comes to mind because it's my most annoying and I've done it for years... is that I pick the cuticles on my fingers. They ain't purdy at all. I'm afraid to get a manicure because the tech would be appalled at the condition of my fingers. Heh...

Anyone care to share their personal bad habits? Not so that we can copy you... but to make us feel better about our own shortcomings.

I'm a knuckle cracker. Drives DH crazy. Unfortunately I've passed it on to all 3 kids.

I say "huh?" after dh (or anyone for that matter) asks me a question (even tho I heard the question perfectly!). Drove my dad nuts for years, now I get to annoy dh with it!!

Cuthie...I'm with ya girl...except I'm at the opposite end with the picking...I know, it's gross...but I pick at my feet...my poor feet are so dry...I use that blade thingy to get the dry skin off...but then it just peels off at my heels and I can't help myself...My kids and DH think it's so gross that they put some Eucerin dry foot cream in my Easter card...hee hee...I also pick at my toenails...I'm ashamed to go get a pedicure also...I have ugly toes... ~Lisa

Me too!!! I was too embarrassed to post it!!!! My son said I think you have a form of that cutting disease (they were discussing it at school) because I can't leave my feet alone!!! lol

OMG...I'm sitting here cracking up! I seriously thought that myself a few times...I have other issues and I thought hell, maybe I have a form of that as well! Jesus! Add that to the list! I have depression, ADD, and now the cutting issue! Oh my...SIGH! At least we are not alone! ~Lisa

I keep time...... I tap with my fingers or feet. I don't realize I'm doing this until I'm in a quiet room, which is hardly ever with three kids! But when you are in a room full of future doctors taking a test, you can imagine they find it slighty annoying!!!!

Doing the right thing isn't always the same as doing the easy thing.

I have one that drives my family crazy. I rock back and forth. I dont know Im doing it until someone says to stop rocking nancy

I bite my nails and have a terrible habit of saying "Duh" alot and now my 10yr old says "Duh" constantly and it drives me crazy.

Do I have bad habits?.....Yes, but I think everyone does..I can be very blunt with answers to questions..I drink and alot of people would think that was bad

Great thread, one of my bad habits is typing things that I hear people say. I basically try to type out the conversation while it is going on without a keyboard...weird huh? I also pick at my cuticles and was doing so just as I read the first post LOL.
