Arrow Article about my friend Jeff, the breast cancer survivor..had to share!

As some of you know, my friend Jeff has been dealing with Breast Cancer. There was a article about him in Indianapolis Woman's Magazine. Thought I would share.

Jeff has always been one of my favorite people..always positive and funny. I LOVE doing shows with him. This summer during Wizard of Oz, he and I had a disagreement about an extra rehearsal ( ok, I was whinning), he looked at me and said, "Get over yourself, I have cancer and I am still doing it" He was totally right...but I would never tell HIM that

I am an 8 + year breast cancer survivor. My thoughts and prayers go with Jeff. A positive attitude and a good sense of humor are definitely a plus and it sure sounds like he has both. I, too, do the Race for the Cure, but never with the panache that Jeff does!!

Wow, what a neat guy...you just never think about the boys having breast cancer. I tell you, having gone through cancer this year w/ our son, we probably laughed almost as much as we cried. ; you just have to in order to tolerate the day-to-day stuff. A big shout-out to Jeff!!!!!!!!!!! And a few prayers as well.

As uncommon as it is, my dad years ago had a breast removed from cancer. He was in his 40's at the time, and lived to be 82, so he survived it. For me, when doctors ask about breast cancer in my family, they have dismissed the notion that my dad had it. Maybe not quite as significant as the increased chances of me getting breast cancer (if my mother had it), but it should still be noted that he had breast cancer.
