I did yard work, and worked on my flower beds. I have planted several things to attract the butter flies. Also, filled the bird feeders.

I'm hoping to find some organic cotton/canvas to make some grocery totes.

We celebrated Earth Day by getting those free compact florescent light bulbs at the HomeDepots.

Got our free lightbulb at Home Depot plus bought some more.

Added more to the compost pile and turned. This is the 3rd year so we may get to use it in the garden this year.

Our town always has a clean up. So that's what we did. We also went to an Earth Day celebration at one of the local parks.

I turned the compost and planted some tomato plants in milk jugs with the kids today. We took a few bags to the recycle bin and walked down the towpath and threw away trash. It was a beautiful day today. It was so nice to get out.

My family geocaches and part of geocaching is CITO: CAche in Trash Out, well anyway we sponsered and event yesturday to clean up along a park/along the trail along the river yesturday, what we found was SO depressing; ie old screen doors, pipes, car parts...lots of beer cans and bottles...

After watching the ABC show Friday night, I think I may go and buy some canvas grocery bags...
