I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer for you on this. I am curious as to what the answer might be though. I usually will have a small candle on the candle warmer and DH will usually walk by and turn it off if he doesn't like the smell of it. I've never used the oils before.

I use essential oils and mix them with water (I’d go broke if I didn’t) so assume it would be the same with the blends. I don’t use air freshners and rarely use candles so usually have oils burning – different oils depending on what atmosphere I need. Peppermint for energy, lavender when I want the kids to settle down LOL, etc. You can also use a few drops on your pillow if you have a calming oil. Or if you have one with peppermint a couple of drops on your temples will help a headache There are a million uses for oils. I just went to the website and I don't think you add water to these - If you find you like oils I would go with essential oils next time much more concentrated so in the log run cheaper.

I've done it both ways, and it didn't seem to make a difference in the burning time or the scent either way. And, you can add more than 20 drops to the burner....have you ever seen the one at BBW? That sucker is FULL of oil.....lol
