Quite frankly, it pisses me off to be sucked into watching a 2-hour telethon and be ripped off at the end.

I don't think it means that she was in the bottom; Ryan made a point of saying that it was completely random. I think it is nasty to have done that to Jordin at this stage in the game. How upsetting for her.

If Jordan leaves next week I will be really disappointed! She should be in the top two. Her voice and her stage ease at 17!!!!! Amazing. If she goes I'm sure she will have a career anyway but I'd hate to see her go.

I also thought it was very mean to do that. But glad that everyone stayed at elast for another week,
However, I Wonder about this double week votiong they are going to do. WHAT HAPPENS ?? if someone next week sings WORSE than the person that had the least votes this week ?? Maybe I'm confused on this, but I see it this way, can anyone try to explain it to me LOL.

I LOVE Jordan; IMO, whenever she opens her mouth, it just sounds like the angels are singing. I am thinking Chris is out-and I hope Jordan and Blake will make the final two..
And btw, who else got the chills when watching the Celine Dion/Elvis "duet?" I thought it was so beautiful-it actually brought a tear to my eye...Or several..I am such a woosie, I cry at toilet paper commercials......................

I was really worried there for a moment. That was very mean to do that to Jordon. She has it all. I hope she wins American Idol!

LOL at Kathy.

That was so terrible to do that to Jordin. She was crying so hard.

I hope she wins. I vote, vote, vote for her each week.

I agree with you all...I think it was very mean to pull something like that on Jordin...After all, she's only a young seventeen year old girl...The whole "most shocking result in American Idol history" thing was a very bad joke...I really do love Blake...There's just something different about that guy...I hope he goes far...I loved the Idol's song at the end...I guess the show got to me...I just donated...I felt so bad for those people...It broke my heart...Those children were just precious...Bono was great... ~Lisa

Ohh so shocking-NOT. Cmon that was so silly. Mean thing to do to Jordan and someone should have been voted off. I thought the show was awful. The only good performances were Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Josh Grobin. I love Annie Lenox and I thought her vocals were really off. The Celine Dion/Elvis thing was disgusting. He's dead! Leave him alone. He didn't give his pernission to do that.

Jordin, You are the last team to arrive, however I'm happy to tell you that this is a non-elimination leg! You are marked for elimination next week. If you don't put in a kick ass performance you will be eliminated.

CaddyLisa, here you go

YouTube - American Idol Top 6 sing "American Prayer"

I've been a U2 fan since they were Feedback and I am just so proud of Bono and ONE and all they've been able to accomplish so far. Last night was a celebration of hope, something sorely needed in these times (except for dead-elvis which really creeped me out).

There are a lot of different ways people can help, many of them non-monetary.

I know I fastforwarded during parts of the show but what happened to Pink and Gwen Stefani. I thought they were going to be on there. Maybe Pink was in the Staying Alive bit, I didn't recognize everyone. I didn't see Gwen on the show at all.

Yes I was shock to see Jordan in the bottom 2. It wasn't expected from my point of view. She has done a super job all the way Thur this. So to me it was a shock. I didn't like how it ended either. I'm still not liking they are going to vote 2 off next week. I still dont get it. I also don't know if Jordan was *REALLY* one of the two bottoms. Or was this set up to fall that way and meant nothing she was the last in the 2 to sit back down.

I thought the whole Elvis thing was kinda of neat, but was taking a bath at the time and didn't know this was a *stage* I thought it was someone doing a Elvis act LOL. I was like dang he sounds just . like him LOL.... I jumped out of the tub to go see what he looked like as well, My husband must have missed it as well because he said He looks like him also, I said Yeah but many years before he died, thats a YOUNG Elvis look LOL

I hope next week will not end with Jordan getting the boot. She really is good.

Ryan said that he was going to call them all in "random" order and announce the results. It had nothing to do with the voting results that Jordin was last, IMO. I think they planned that she be last because she is clearly the front runner at this point and that was the pretend SHOCK.

Aww OK, I was taking a bath and missed most of the *seeing* of AI, I was listening to it from the TV in our bedroom. I'm going Thur a cycle of migraines and it helps to relax sometimes in a hot tub for about an hr.

Now I feel better about that, I really thought she was in the bottom 2 Thanks for clearing that up.

Jordin has thrown greats performances the past 2 weeks in a row so i just don't believe she is in the bottom 2. Lakisha on the other hand has given bad performances the past 2 weeks so I think she'll be the one to go. Either her or Chris. I would like to see Jordin and Blake in the final 2, but I don't think that's going to happen. I like Phil too because he reminds me a little of my husband (but I don't have a crush on Phil LOL). I think Melinda will win...not that I'm voting for her. I think her style is too old for American Idol.

Jordan wasn't in the bottom 2. They just randomly-I doubt it- selected each person til they got to the final one. I'm sure the results from the phone calls were not released to Ryan and the rest. They will add the results from this week with next week and then we will have the bottom 2 go home.

According to DialIdol.com, Jordin was the top in votes this past week. So, no, she wasn't in the bottom two. But she was SO upset and I'm wondering if this will have an affect on her performance next week. I mean, she's only 17. How much pressure can she take?

I think it was cruel the way this was done and in poor taste.

Ryan Secrest announced "the biggest Idol shocker" at the end of Tuesday night's show. He would have no way of knowing that they would announce her name last. It was all staged. I think she will do just fine. She is very talented and a great role model for young people, like Carrie Underwood.

I agree with the last poster. Jordan seems to be a good role model for young kids, unlike some of the others (past and present). It would be a shame for her to go so early. I'm was relieved to see it was just a very bad tease.

I was beyond shocked! I was so angry. I think Jordin is fantastic, when she was " kicked off " I actually found myself jumping up and and shouting NO!

I am absolutely convinced that they put Jordin last for theatrics.

IMHO - I think it will be between Melinda and Jordin but I do dearly love Blake
