HELP - anybody have a package of Frontline Plus for dogs handy

I'm trying to order Frontline Plus for my dog from eBay since it's much more expensive from my vet, but I've done my homework and have found that there are a lot of listings that are, in fact, for product from Australia, Singapore, Thailand, etc.

And, I started checking out negative feedback and found that many buyers complained that the product was foreign although that information was not disclosed in the listings

There is one seller who has a picture of the back of the box that is readable (hopefully it is authentic!)

Does anybody have an actual box of the "real" Frontline Plus that can tell me exactly what the back of the box has printed on it? Does it say "made in France" or "made in USA", etc?

Does it list an actual EPA number on the box?

While I would like to save money, I certainly don't want to risk my dog's health.

Here's a link with all of the label information. I looked and it turns out that it is made in France.

Thanks! That was very helpful.

I called the phone number on the page you provided. While the rep was reluctant to talk to me because she said they only sell to vets, she finally agreed to give me some tips to determine whether a product being sold on eBay was genuine.

Using that information, I was able to find a seller with 100% positive feedback whose listing contained the information I was looking for. I paid $48 for a 6-month supply -- my vet was going to charge me $48.30 for a 3-month supply so I saved a lot of money.

Sure.

1) the box should say "made in France"

2) it should have a Duluth, GA address

3) the lot number on the side of the box should be the same as the lot number on the back of the box

4) there should not be an expiration date printed on the box

5) there should be an EPA number on the box

6) the inside packaging should be white with black (no orange)

7) the weight should only be in lbs. (no metric measurements)

Also, be sure to check the negative/neutral feedback for a seller -- there were several of them that looked pretty good until I checked the feedback and found that they were selling product that was not, in fact, distributed in the US -- even though their listings did not disclose that fact.

I hope everybody knows about this website where you can view only negative/neutral feedback (instead of wading through pages and pages of feedback trying to get to the negative/neutral feedback):

My vet sells all of the frontline for the same price no matter which size pet you are buying for. He gives everyone the option to buy the biggest one and tells you how much to use on your pet. Since my dog only weighs 18 pounds I get extra uses. He gives a dropper to put it on with. You might want to check and see if your vet does the same.
