Well, aryia, I must agree with you! Though Bon Jovi still rocks today, I have been a
fan since the beginning. Growing up w/Bon Jovi and listening to their music in junior
high and high school, I just didn't like Blake's performance tonight. I think Simon hit
the nail on the head--either you like it or you don't. Though Blake is a terrific performer,
I don't think he did Bon Jovi justice tonight. They are a rock band, not a pop group.
But, everyone has their own opinion, and that's just fine. Blake is a great performer
either way.

I must admit, my favorite tonight was Melinda. I never would have thought I would have
picked her to be the best on a rock night w/Bon Jovi. She tried something totally out
of her comfort zone and did great!! Lakisha played it safe as did Phil (though they both
did good). Jordin had a rough time and Chris...why would he pick that song especially after
Chris Daughtry did it last season and rocked (he even put it on the AI cd from last year)?!

They all did pretty good tonight though! IMO...Melinda was the best!

Side Note... I think one of those women should have sung "Who Says You Can't Go Home". Bon Jovi had a duet with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland fame -- it rocked! That song really lends itself well to a woman's voice.

I think this would have been a much better song for Jordin. But I agre Blake did a good job. Two go home tonight....not just one!

Ohhh my, last night was so confusing because the ones that I thought were due to leave (Chris and Ki-ki ) had pretty good nights. Chris wasn't nasally for once...maybe nasally really is a singing style. The double week scoring is really throwing a twist in there. Personally I thought Phil did a terrific job - I sure wish he didn't look so weird. I think that vote-for-the-worst is supporting him now, but I don't think he's the worst!

Jordin didnt do as well as the rest IMO. I <LIKE> her, but it WAS a tough song.
Blake did fine. Melinda too.
Chris - Nasally.
Phil fine.
Lakisha fine.

Conclusion: Jordin and Chris.

I thought they all did pretty good last night. Jordin did have an off night but everyone is due one from time to time. I do NOT think she should go home based on that one performance.
I liked Blake, loved the look too. But I agree that you will either love it or hate it. I just appreciate the fact that he probably could not have done a Bon Jovi song in true Bon Jovi fashion and done it justice. So I think his only choice was to make it his own, which he did and I think he did it very good!

I think it's between Phil, Chris and Lakisha going home tonight. Two of them...awww! The bad part is, it's down to a lot of really good singers so anyone who leaves, IMO, is a good singer now.

I really didn't like Blake at all last night. I liked Melinda, Lakisha and Phil. I did not care for the performances of Blake, Chris or Jordan. I really have no idea who the bottom 2 will be this week.

Like Cici I would also buy his CD, just like Chris Daughtry - no matter what happens on the show, we'll be seeing a lot more of him!

He has a very unique voice, one of those that if you heard him on the radio, you'd know it was him. Besides, he's just HOT -- I'm sure that's not appropriate from someone in their...er...40-50s but I can't help myself. I love the way the boy moves.

I'm in the minority here, but I didn't care too much for Blake's hair. I wish he would have added just a little blond to the front. His song was good though, a little too much scatting, but it was definitely good.

I don't understand why the judges praised LaKisha so much, I fast forwarded through her boring song. Jordin did have an off day, but she's still my favorite. Surprisingly, Phil was very good last night. He's not much to look at but his wife is sure pretty.

I hope Chris and Lakisha go tonight and I'd love to have Blake and Jordin in the finals. Melinda is fantastic but just not much personality.
