It went to $3.19 a gallon today!
It was $2.99 yesterday.
They are now raising it .20 a gallon each time it goes up. It used to go up 2 or 3 cents at a time. Now they raise it at least .20 a gallon.

This is so VERY SAD!!!!! Ours is almost $3 a gallon now. My question is, WHO IS GETTING ALL OF OUR MONEY????????? Last I had heard all the oil and gas companies had reported nice profits from the last year. SO how much money before this is considered highway robbery of the American people???? When it gets to $4 a gallon I just might have a heart attack!!!!!!! THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!!

The morning news told about it going up to $3.19 yesterday and then they said it is expected to go even higher.

I think we are getting ripped off!
Every station went up at the same time???

It is getting so that we will have to get second jobs to pay for the gas to go to our first job!

As I was driving to work this morning, I heard them say on the radio that gas prices are expected to reach record highs before the end of the month. They were saying that gas prices are expected to continue to rise to the upper end of $3 per gallon. If gas ends up close to $4 per gallon, I don't know what we'll do. Most places were at about $2.99 this morning. I think I better go top off my tank when I'm at lunch.

I spent $55.00 this morning on one tank of gas!

I can think of a lot of other things that I want to spend that money on!

Here in central CA we are paying $3.59 per gallon, regular unleaded. I can't remember the las time it was under $3.00.

Gas went down here this morning, it was $2.89 yesterday now it's $2.85.

my brother-in-law works at a NW Ohio car dealer and the local gas station told them that gas will go up to $4.00 per gallon this weekend. I sure hope they are wrong.

My oldest dd was looking at hubby's old year book. There was a picture of one of the students pumping gas and the sign said $1.25. That was back in 1991/1992. If only gas would get that low again. Ahhh.

When I made a run out to the store this morning, regular was $2.90.

Our Vibe gets good gas mileage. I only hope the rental place has a non-gas hog next week when we take the Vibe in to get fixed (some guy hit me). My Jimmy gets a whopping 18 miles per gallon.......it's killing me to drive it this week.

what gets me is that the gas stations can fill their underground tanks and change the price on "their tank" of gas a dozen times before they fill back up. how is all that legal?

Here in southern MI it went from $3.19 yesterday to $3.25 this a.m. Our local station hadn't changed their $2.99 yet from yesterday a.m. so we filled up. Guess we saved .26 per gallon.

I saw a station while I was at lunch that was still at $2.95, so I went ahead and topped off my tank since I only had half a tank left. I bet prices are higher here tomorrow, it not this evening when I am on my way home.

Last Friday I filled up at $2.73 a gallon for regular unleaded, Monday it went up to $2.88, so far it hasn't gone any higher yet. After reading this though I think I will go fill 2 vehicles tonight just in case. DH and I are both taking tomorrow off work and hadn't planned on filling the tanks until Sunday, but will fill tonight. Don't plan on going anywhere until Monday morning except the the park and church both within 4 blocks of the house.

It is $3.29 a gallon here, up from $2.89 last week.

I had a script to fill and instead of transferring it to Target, I transferred it to Kroger using the CVS $25 gift card email just so gas would be manageable this week. Sad thing was We got 7.8 gallons out of $25 at $3.17 a gallon at Kroger. My husband then topped off his Pontiac SUV for $27.53 so it would have been over $52 just to put 16 gallons in the tank! I yelled at him for waiting until the end of the week because I told him to get his butt in gear on Monday and he said this morning "my idiot light came on last night can I fill up my tank?" grrrr!!

I'm in So. CA and the cheapest gas is $3.38 a gal. My dh keeps saying he thinks it will get to $4 a gal. by summer, but I tell him I don't think it will take that long. I sure hope I'm wrong.

These days I'm happy I work 3 blocks from home. If I don't run around too much I can get 2 weeks out of a tank in my Honda. Of course the Honda is in the shop because an 80 yr old man backed into it. I'm driving a 07 Jeep Cherokee as a rental....talk about a GAS SUCKER!! YIKES!!

If DD wants to stay after school for art, I crab at her because I have to spend MY gas to go get her....LOL. Can't you catch the bus and use the school board's gas??
