Molly Amelia, born April 7 @ 5:06 am, weighing 5.5 lbs.

She arrived six weeks early and DH made it back from Iraq 10 hours before she arrived via c-section, (due to non progression of labor, ugh, after 19 hours). I was in the hospital for a week because my water broke so early. Molly spent some time in the NICU but is home with us now.


She is our little miracle. I think it is incredible that since she was an IVF baby I actually saw her, as an embryo, being put into my uterus. I watched the transfer on a screen as the doctor did it.

Here she is!!!!!!

Congratulations !!! What a beautiful name too and so glad Daddy made it home.

Its something isnt it knowing you created a life through infertility treatments and now have that beautiful gift.

wow she was good sized for being early! she would have been a whopper at term! my dd was born 6 weeks early at 3lbs 8 oz
and such a cutie my little dd kinda looked like a little monkey at first, shes a beautiful woman now

What a cutie! Hope you and the baby are doing well. My dd was also born 6 weeks early and she just turned 11 yesterday! Time will go quickly and you will soon forget all the NICU and your child being wired for sound. (Didn't everything make noise in the NICU?) Just enjoy her even when she is crying!

Congratulations Tessa! I'm so happy for you and your husband. That's great that he was able to make it home in time for her birth. You have a beautiful baby girl and you picked out an equally beautiful name for her.

Savor and enjoy every moment you have with her because they grow so, so fast, especially in the first year. It seems like just yesterday my daughter was born, but she's almost 9 1/2 months old now. She has already trippled her birth weight and I already miss her being teeny, tiny.
