I am so excited I am in tears. For 10 years I have wanted to try my life out in North CArolina.. My dad fell ill I felt guilty... he passed I got married.. life goes on.. Well my mom and younger sister are going.. I asked dh if we could try it out for a year... HE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't expecting it at all. were selling the house in a year and heading to New Bern.. Were going to Emerald Isle in June and were meeting with a realtor then.. I cannot wait!

Small world...my parents retired to New Bern!

nothing at all! I love Canal fulton , but everything is closing up shop here. Did you see that both car dealerships went out. Th varsity club is up for sale.. my dh is starting to get sent home early from work since there is none.. We have better opportunity in NC right now. not to mention 40 minutes from the beautiful ocean which is something I've always wanted to live by.. It's worth a shot. I'm excited about it.

That's too funny, I am from OH and tried my whole life to move to NC, and 18 month ago DH got transferred and I got to! I feel your excitement of getting to go somewhere new!

Green with envy! Keep telling my dh that I want to move. I thought you might be from FL. Everyone move from here to NC, or they go there in the summer. Really who is their right mind likes south FL in the summer? It's like living in the inside of a sponge!
