DH and I have always loved this show too. Honestly, though, I'm not really sad to see it go. I think the show has run it's course. I feel like the quality of the show has been going down the tubes for the last year or two. It just isn't that funny to me anymore. I have the last two shows recorded on my DVR, but I haven't watched them yet. DH said they were both pretty stupid, but I feel like I need to watch them anyways. I think one of my favorite episodes was "Fatty McButterpants." LOL We still love to watch the reruns, but the newer ones just haven't been that great. |

We used to watch it all the time. I think it was on Mondays and we loved all the shows on that night. Then they moved some shows and messed up everything. We ended up not watching it or not being able to find it because something else was on. I think the line up we loved was King of Queens, Yes Dear, Still Standing, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

LOVE the show. It is one of my favorites (along with Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives). I am very sad that it is ending. I've been a BIG fan. I went to see Kevin James doing stand-up a few years ago. He was good, but not as funny as on the show! I will miss it... |

I'm a big fan of King of Queens and have season's 1-4 on DVD, but I have to agree this year has been pretty bad. I love Jerry Stiller too, I just found out after all these years that Ben Stiller was his son Christine

Jerry Stiller and Ann Meara ... they've been doing husband/wife comedy for years. They have always been really funny but have a true love for each other that is undeniable. Used to be on Ed Sullivan Show all the time. You can read their biography at Jerry Stiller - Biography I love that show and will miss it too. Sad. |

Gary is indeed Kevin's brother. I saw an interview on Gary Valentine a while back. I also just read up on him on imdb.com to double check what I thought I had remembered from the interview. It states that Gary is Kevins brother. They both have the same birth last name of Knipfing. In the interview Gary said that he used Valentine because he wanted to make a name for himself (or something to that effect). I forget why he choose the name Valentine, there was some strategy to it though. I also remember Stiller and Meara. They were quite a team! I loved seeing them on the show together. My dh and I always liked the show, however lately it seems as if they always fight and get so petty with each other. This last season has not been as good, but I will still miss the show. Leah Remini and Kevin James both have a young child (not together) so this will give them some time with their families before they move on to the next venture. I wish them both the best of luck.
