Spin Off: "The Minerals" make-up.

For the folks that use ANY type of minerals make-up - since there are several out there now - does it really work well?

I bought some online, it wasn't bare minerals, it was from SheerMiracle.com.

It seems like when I brush it on, you can see it like a layer of powder. I can't seem to blend it in with a brush.

Does your face have to be super moisturized or anything? I'm just not getting the "wonderfulness" of this and I was so excited to try it. I wouldn't doubt I'm doing something wrong, does anyone have any tips, tricks, or advice on the different "Mineral" make-ups?

Thanks!

bareescentuals: The Bare Minerals Foundation Tutorial

Not my brand, but I found it really helpful. You want a fairly dense brush, and you almost want to scrub the makeup into your skin. Definitely moisturise around your eyes, or any part of your face that gets dry.

I love Bare Minerals. It seems to melt into my skin and really give me coverage without looking made up. I wonder if you have the right color for your skin? Mine only looks powdery for a few minutes and then blends in. It looks pretty natural. I use the Bare Minerals Kabuki brush to put it on. You can get the brush on Ebay for a good price.

This is kind of what it seems to be like on me. It's like I just couldn't blend it in enough no matter how long I did it.

The color was fine, it was very very close to my skin color. It just looked like I had a layer of powder sitting on my skin. I have no idea why I couldn't blend it in.

I'm guessing I might need someone to show me how to do it or something.
