Does Dreamz realize that A LOT of people are watching this show and see what a poor character he is. Who in their right mind would give him a job er rely on him for anything. Other than that he is obviously dumber than a rock, too. Did he not figure, that NOBODY would ever vote for him??? I just loved Yau! He has so much class! |
| ||||
|
9 votes for Yau---first time in Survivor history that one person got unanimous votes for final tribal council. Yau definitely DID DESERVE TO WIN. But, Dreamz, with all his fast talking and backtracking, just sealed his own fate---and I agree...who would hire him with the reputation he created for himself all by himself. He SWORE TO GOD that he would honor his promise---well, God has a loooonnnnnnnggggggg memory...AND Kharma is a B!t@h!!!!! I think Yau will get something from someone down the line...he does deserve it. That being said, with the three in the final, it could have been nobody but Earl to win.....

I was happy with the result -- Yau was as sneaky as Dreamz, IMO. Remember when he made the fake immunity idol to mess with people? I thought some on the jury might admire Dreamz "outwitting" Yau, but apparently not. I thought this jury was about as nasty as any I'd ever seen. They came across to me as petulant children, who'd been sent to their rooms or something. It sounded like none of them (except Yau) even watched Survivor before coming onto the show. They were mad and upset they'd been lied to? What did they think was going to happen? This show is all about lying and scheming! |

I have no idea of what Dreamz was thinking. He had to know that he could NOT win. So, why would he want to make himself look like a total fool on national television. I feel for his family. If I were his mother I would be so ashamed of his behavior and lack of character. Dreamz set a horrible example for his son. At the very least, he should have given the truck back to Yau, although I doubt that Yau would have accepted it. I had a feeling the final vote would be a blow out. There really wasn't any choice. I cannot imagine having Dreamz working in my store, company etc....how could you trust him to be honest! |

I think that Yau was sleazy for even proposing that deal to Dreamz. He wanted to have the benefit of Dreamz phuysical strength, so he dangled the truck in front of him. In effect, he was trying to get Dreamz to give up his own chance at the 1 million for the truck and for Yau's benefit. Granted, Dreamz didn't have to take him up on the deal, but with his background of deprivation and hardship, you can see why he would jump at the offer without really thinking it out first. I think Yau really tried to take advantage of him, and didn't deserve to win either. When Dreamz realized the implication of the decision he made, he had second thoughts. But he definitely should have given the truck back when he renegged on his deal. no doubt. I also believe Earl was really faking his disgust with what Dreamz did. He was doing internal cartwheels because he knew that move would ruin Dreamz's chances and make Earl a shoe-in.

First off earl won and secondly jeff asked if yau was up there how many people would vote for yau and they said 6. They both should of made a silent deal with each other and jeff brought that up as well. Yau giving the truck was a pure strategy beleive you me it wasn't done out of the goodness of his heart. This is a game and nothing more and people seem to lose insight on that.

YauMan was playing the game and was very smart, to a point. Giving away the truck I don't think was out of the goodness of his heart. He was just playing Dreamz. Like another poster said, I think these players forget this is game -- Survivor is to 'outwit, outplay and outlast.' Dreamz isn't the first one to pull a stunt like he did and he certainly won't be the last. The jury was definitely acting like little children who didn't get their way -- gosh, especially the lawyer, telling Cassandra to be quiet over and over and that he was talking! Guess he thought he was in court! Even Earl backstabbed Yauman by voting him out. He knew if he took him to the finals, Yauman would win.

Yau, Dreamz and Earl all agreed that they had an alliance ONLY up to a certain point---which was final four. After that, all three agreed that alliances were then just one man for himself. The point of Dreamz and his deception, was completely different---his promise extended beyond just getting to the final four--it INCLUDED the final four and his promise to give up immunity if he got it. Plain and simple, HE (Dreamz) was the one who "swore to God" and who said he would definitely honor the agreement because he did not want his son to see him being a dishonorable man. He also, in aside "confessionals" to the camera said repeatedely that he would honor his agreement because he was a man of his word. Yes, this IS a game, BUT, he was the one putting himself out there as honorable in his alone times with the camera when he could have easily said that he was only playing the game. On the contrary he said over and over that he would honor his Promise. I definitely put him in the slime league with Rotten "Johnny Fairplay" who told his castmates that his grandmother had died when she had not. I, myself, would rather be known for honesty and integrity rather than bragging about how well I lied and how my oaths to God meant nothing.....Just my never to be humble opinion.

Dreamz really blew it. Does everyone realize that if he had kept his word he could have parlayed that into speaking engagements and commerciasl on keeping your word no matter the costs. You know "Word up, keep your word!" lol He could have been such a hero!!! Instead he is going to be remembered as the Judas of survivor. My 16 yr old and I had a big discussion on this. Or, Dreamz and Yau could have had a partnership for keeping your word and made commercials, etc..., It could have been such fun and had such a great impact! |
| ||||
|
I don't think many people come out of Survivor with speaking engagements, do they? The only ones I remember parlaying it into anything were Richard Hatch, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and that Colleen girl. Besides, for every person I've talked to that thinks Dreamz is scum, there's another that thinks he was a darn smart player and that Yau was just a fool. In order to think Dreamz was a "Judas" you have to think Yau was some kind of wonderful guy that deserved undying loyalty -- and he just wasn't. He was as sneaky and conniving as the rest of the group.

I agree with truble on this one. Yau was just as sneaky just a lot were blind to that. I don't like what dreamz did at all, but this is a game and lying deceiving is the name of the game. You do what you can to survive and if that is lying then that is what it boils down to. I don't beleive when dreamz said at the reunion that his plan was all along to keep the immunity and never give it to yau. I beleive he was going to give it to yau and this was a last minute decision to keep it as he had tears in his eyes at immunity and buried his face in his hands. like i said i don't like dreamz and i don't like how he played the game as he did some not so right things during the game, but this is a game and untill i play it myself i can't judge them.

I guess the thing was that he took a truck for his word. They usually all back stab each other but they don't do it for something of such monetary value. I realize that it's a game and all's fair in love and war. But this time it involved monetary value. I didn't think that was fair. I realize Yau took a gamble when he did it but I still think it was nasty of Dreamz. If he had given back the truck then that would make it all right. Just my thoughts.

Well, I feel the reason that he looked so bad was that he put himself into that position. He swore to GOD that he would give Yau immunity. He said he did not want his son to look at him as less of a man. He brought that on himself. There is a difference in deceiving, and swearing an oath to God when you are a self-proclaimed Christian, which Dreamz said he was.
