Regarding the Horry hit -
We in San Antonio are just as disgusted with what happened as the Phoenix Suns fans. The hit was mean and uncalled for.

After talking to many, many Spurs fans the consensus is that although Stoudemire and Diaw came off the bench we DO NOT want to see them suspended!

The NBA rules indicate the suspension was accurate, but we do not want to win ANY game under those circumstances, especially a play-off game. If we win, then it will be perceived we won only because Stoudemire and Diaw did not play.

We want our Spurs to win because they play good ball, not because they are bullies.

I hope someone from San Antonio has made a statement to the Phoenix fans apoligizing for Horry's behavior and Bowen's too.

I live in Phoenix and I was just watching the hit again on the sports news again this morning. I still can't believe that they got suspened. I can't remember who but one of the Spurs players got off of the bench after the guy landed on Nash but because there wasn't an 'altercation' he wasn't suspended which is wrong because he got off the bench because he 'thought' there was going to be a fight and he wanted to be ready.

Glad to know that we aren't the only ones mad about this call. Hopefully it will still be a great game! Good Luck!! GO SUNS!!!! :}

NEW YORK - Robert Horry of the San Antonio Spurs has been suspended two games without pay and Amaré Stoudemire and Boris Diaw of the Phoenix Suns have each been suspended one game without pay for their actions in Monday night's game, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Horry has been suspended for flagrantly fouling Phoenix’s Steve Nash and striking Raja Bell above the shoulders with a forearm.

Stoudemire and Diaw have been suspended for leaving “the immediate vicinity of their bench” during an altercation.

The incident occurred with :18 remaining in the fourth period of the Suns' 104-98 win over the Spurs Monday night at AT&T Center.

Horry will serve his suspension sitting out Games 5 and 6 of the Spurs-Suns Western Conference Semifinal series, while Stoudemire and Diaw will miss Game 5 tomorrow night at US Airways Center in Phoenix.
