Which Treadmill???

Which do you have and how long, would you recommend it?

I am looking for a treadmill as cheap as possible ,hopefully under $1000,mainly for walking ,light jogging.

We have a Weslo Cadence C78, I've looked at the reivews on line that say they only recommend it for walking, but my husband and I both run on it, training for races and it's nicer than the ones in our community gym. It retailed for $600, but we got it under $200 when it clearanced 2 years ago at Shopko. I love it, and would highly recommend it.

We have a pro-form (the model escapes me at the moment). We've had it probably for two years or so. We got it at Sam's and paid less than $500 for it. It's got some preset routines and some other neat things.

I have owned three different brands Proform (didn't hold up to daily use replaced under warranty several times then switch brands. Also, told they are not made to run on), Healthrider (really liked but wore out the belt and they stopped making the belts switch brand again) and NordicTrack (have owned 2 and held up good still has to be worked on but covered under warranty). I brought my treadmills at Sears with an extended warranty. I use my treadmill between 1-3 hours daily. If you plan to use one a lot make sure to get an extended warranty. The treadmill I have now has 2 small fans to blow on you. Really nice feature.
Just don't get a really cheap treadmill. Too hard on your knees and back.

I second the Pro-form! We paid about $650 for ours a few years ago and is used off and on pretty regularly. Still works great!
