We have a Weslo Cadence C78, I've looked at the reivews on line that say they only recommend it for walking, but my husband and I both run on it, training for races and it's nicer than the ones in our community gym. It retailed for $600, but we got it under $200 when it clearanced 2 years ago at Shopko. I love it, and would highly recommend it.

I have owned three different brands Proform (didn't hold up to daily use replaced under warranty several times then switch brands. Also, told they are not made to run on), Healthrider (really liked but wore out the belt and they stopped making the belts switch brand again) and NordicTrack (have owned 2 and held up good still has to be worked on but covered under warranty). I brought my treadmills at Sears with an extended warranty. I use my treadmill between 1-3 hours daily. If you plan to use one a lot make sure to get an extended warranty. The treadmill I have now has 2 small fans to blow on you. Really nice feature. Just don't get a really cheap treadmill. Too hard on your knees and back. |
