| Fires in NJ are 2 - 4 miles from my house!! 13,500 acres!!
I am asking that you pray or send good thought to our local residents, police and firefighters fighting this fire in my neighborhood in NJ plus Florida (my mom lives there). I am mostly likely going to leave tonight to get away since the fire is getting closer to my house with more evacuations!!!! All I can hear is planes, fire siren's and helicopters for more than 24 hours so far nonstop!! I have ash and smoke all around my yard. So far 13,500 acres are burned. We had 2,500 evaculated last night, plus I know more tonight. Thank you

I live nearby, though not as close as you, so we're all following this and sending lots of prayers. I am hoping this storm dumps lots of rain, we have no lightening fires, and the winds die down once it blows through. Stay safe!! |

I hope that those of you who live close are safe. I live in Central Jersey but work in Ocean Cty and I know a few people I work with live close by where the fire is. My thoughts are with everyone

We had school yesterday, which should have been a delayed opening. Most familes did not get home until 9pm until 10pm from evacuations. Thank goodness it is all under control! Thanks again to all of you!!!
