 HELP! 3D model of solar System
I can't say loud enough how much I HATE CRAFTS! My 6th grader has to make a 3D model of the solar system. Anybody have any ideas how to do this without buying the $30.00 kit at the teacher supply store? TIA, Kristie  |

Michaels had one for around $15 and usually they have a 40% off coupon in the paper on Sunday. That's what we used when my 3rd grader had to do one a few months ago. It was easy to do and has everything you need except the paint and those are cheap. |

That's only the solar sytem!!! heheh my son had to make a scaled working model of a lighthouse, his was the Heceta Head lighthouse in Oregon. You could not use playdough, modeling clay, or foam. our WONDERFUL neighbor helped him <she gave his ideas but let me know she wouldnt do it for him and I told her that was great with me> He got his mark for the lighthouse yesterday made a 120 on it
