Smile Webkinz

Hi
There is a store near me that has Webkinz. They just got a shipment in and have alot of variety. They are a little higher but the store owner is great. She holds Yugi- oh games every Saturday morning for the kids. She has parties for the holidays. So I thought I would post to see if anyone needs them to help her to move some. They are 18.99 plus 6% tax plus shipping. If you need anything special I can check if she has it.
thanks for looking
Barb

I work at Carlton Cards, Century III mall south of Pittsburgh. We finally got a few in. The pug & Little kins white poodle. Going fast, though. I think $10 & $12. We had TONS before Easter, but since then have had a hard time getting them from whatever country they are made in. It's as bad as the Cabbage Patch kids 20 plus years ago and the Beanie Baby Craze 10 years ago! Some people call every day asking for them!

I don't have kids and never heard of these things until I heard the lady in the gift wrapping department at Beals tell someone else that they don't advertise it but, sell them there in the customer service for 14 dollars and limit 2 per person too...if that helps too!!

((what ever they maybe))((scratching head))

I got caught up in the beanie baby and teeny beanie craze a few years ago. I don't even want to think about the stupid things I did and the money spent

They now sell the beanies at the grocery store.

"They now sell the beanies at the grocery store."

Yep, and I did a search on ebay yesterday and most of the beanie auctions start at $.99 - some even lower! Remember people paying hundreds of dollars for the silly things? We have at least a hundred of them and I hang my head in shame when I think of all the money I wasted on those cute little buggers (although I never paid more than $7 for them). Two of my kids have webkinz - for a total of 3 webkinz in this house. I'm planning on never exceeding that number!

All the girls have them, and C has at least 8 or 9, Sara has 6 or 7, and Meghan has 1 too.

At $10/pop, seems ok enough... (sort of)

IF you can find them.

IF.

That price is high. Around here they are $11.99 for the full sized ones. We have a small independent toy/hobby shop that gets a shipment every Monday. They are gone by Thursday!

We are all addicted here. I'd say they are a step up from Beanies because of the website access. Basically you are paying $11.99 to be able to access webkins.com for a year. My kids are having a ball with it...so am I. I ended up with one too and I love being able to surprise them with notes and gifts to their webkins. I swear it has brought us even closer! I am a "cool" Mom among their friends because I send them stuff too!

Wow, $18.99 for one! They are only $10-$12 here, depending on if it is lil or the big kinz. Granted they are not plentiful, but they are still regular price. Supply is supposed to jump up at in June when tons of shipments will be sent out!

Beanies were on sale 75% off at Borders, Century III mall Thursday evening when I went to work at the Carlton Card store, mostly holiday ones. I got a Halloween "ghost' bear ALREADY half off PLUS another 75%off. I paid only .79 cents, including tax! Will send it to mt 26 y/o dd who LOVES Halloween next October!

Just found this out on their website........I didn't know what they were either.

Webkinz pets are lovable plush pets that each come with a unique Secret Code that lets you enter Webkinz World and play with a virtual version of your pet.
