my dd 13 (7th grade)always complained that 2 girls in her math class cheats on tests.
well today ,my dd was asked by those 2 girls if she knew the subject really well.my dd said yes.
during the test,they copied off her(dd's) paper.
just before the end of the test,my dd changed most of her answers.result : she got a 92/100,and the 2 other one 17/100.
I am proud of her,she outsmarted them .
her beef was: why should I study for 3 people!!
next year we homeschool!!!

Good for her! And good for you.... raising a daughter who knows right from wrong and how not to get talked into doing something wrong.

I have to say that she has street smarts and that will get her far in life.

Way to go! How proud you should be of her for figuring out a way to call these girls' bluff. I hope that they learned a BIG life lesson!!!

ok here is an update.
this morning in homeroom ,one of those girls asked her what grade she had.she said 92.and the girl said: how did you do that?
and she started to talk to the other girl who also cheated.and apparently she coulddn;t figure out how it was possible....
on the other hand,all the kids who didn't get a passing test were able to retake the test,and those 2 girls did cheat again.....
