What makes you smile?
I don't mean the usual, baby humans and aminals, or finding a penny heads up. What unusual sight, sound and scent are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face? Something the people with or around you might not even notice.

For me

Sight: Watching a Redtail Hawk float on the air currents over the desert floor.
Sound: A cammed up V-8
Scent: Coppertone suntan oil (reminds me of a Hawaiian vacation)

Being by the water and looking at lighthouses are so relaxing and I love it. I could walk for miles on a beach as I find it the most relaxing place in the world.

I love apple cinamon candles, Fall is my favorite time of the year and it makes me feel warm and cozy smelling them no matter what time of the year.

Sounds- My kids or DH saying "I love you", "You're the best mom" or something like that. I thin it means even more now that my kids are 19, 18, 17 and 10!!

I opened the back door going to our deck this morning and it had rained last night -- the scent of the honeysuckle was so strong, it was awesome.

Sight... sunrise or sunset on the beach.
Sound...my family laughing together.
Scent... forest in the rain.

Sight- I like how my almost 13 year will wink at me when I catch his eye across the room. It doesnt matter if he is standing around all his friends or if anyone sees him. I love that he does this and hope that he doesnt stop any time soon.

Sound- I really like how my name sounds when my husband says it. He rarely calls me by my name and when he does it always makes me pause for just a second.

Scent- It is strange but I love the smell of books. I dont know, it just instantly calms me. It puts me in the mood to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a book.

Sight-Spring Trees Blooming Simultaneously
Sound-A baby bird chirping or rain on a tin roof
Smell-The smell of a slightly old garden with lots of moisture-reminds me of my grandfather

sight would be a rainbow
sound would be either an owl hooting at night (reminds me an old neighbor) or a woodpecker pecking at the house (we had one doing this at our house and it made my younger ds interested in birds).
smell would be how the air smells after a rain storm.

When you don`t know what to do-Walk fast and look worried.

Sight- My son and daughter hugging, it brings me pure joy like I have never felt!

Sound-Kids playing baseball at the park across the street, something about the crack of the bats makes me feel happy
