EBAY for bareminerals?!?!

Hi there! I wonder if someone can answer this for me. I am seeing so many kinds of kits like 21 pc kit or 17 pc kit from various ebay stores like trueminerals and cosmetics etc. BUT are they the same as bareminerals original or are they just a copy?

I remember somebody said that they buy their bareminerals from ebay, so I wondered if anybody can help me with this!

Thanks in advance.

I baught bareminerals from ebay and got a black container of stuff. I have never used bare minerals so I do not know if this is what it is supposed to look like. I did find a site called Mineral Makeup - Foundation, Eye Shadow, Concealer, Lip Colors, and Blushes by Everyday Minerals (thanx whoever posted the like in the last thread about bare minereals) and I really like them. It took me 2 starter kits to find the right color but now I will only order from them. I get complaments everytime I am out wearing their make-up. They are cheaper then ebay-ing bare minerals too.

I use Everyday Minerals too. I have been really happy with them. And the price is much better. You can order a free sample kit. I think you just pay for shipping.

I just got an order recently. I can PM you the name of the seller. It arrived extremely fast and the shipping was free too! I only use Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals although there are a lot of sellers out there trying to trick people into thinking they are selling BE when they aren't.

I have bought Bare Minerals more than 20 times in the last year on Ebay, and I posted something about that in the last month.

Make sure when you are reading the Ebay auction that it is for Bare Escentuals or Bare Minerals. Many sellers know that people don't read the ad thoroughly enough. They will list a name similar to BE and people don't catch it until it is too late.

Make sure that what you are buying says that it is factory sealed, and unopened. Check the sellers feedback and reputation. MANY BE sellers have 100 % reputations. Check what they want for shipping and how you can pay.

I often bid low and sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't. I buy ahead to meet my makeup needs, and I never pay anywhere near full price. It is fine to buy samples from sellers when you are learning about your colors. Just make sure they have a great reputation and feedback. Watch carefully what size you are bidding on. It is easy to get confused because the same items can come in different gram weights.

You can get wonderful samples from Everyday Minerals for just paying the shipping. Their makeup is just fine. I prefer BE for me because their color palate matches my skin better. I have some products that I LOVE from BE but I can't find the same match with Everday Minerals overall. That is just me though -- and I have rosecea so my skin is a little harder to cover.

Everyday Minerals is much cheaper to purchase. They are a very nice product. You will just have to experiment and see what is best for your skin. I had absolutely no problems with my sensitive skin with their products either.

Also, I love my BE Kabuki make up brush for putting on foundation. The right brush is very important for mineral makeup -- but that doesn't mean that you need every brush they sell. Just start with the basics. I do highly recommend the Kabuki, the BE concealor brush and if you wear blush - get the flawless application brush. Once again, I bought my brushes on Ebay for an excellent price. I prefer BE brushes.

I would not start by buying a whole kit either. Buy samples until you know what color works for you. I use a BE bisque concealor, foundation and mineral veil. I have a BE lipstick color and a light BE eyeshadow color that I love too. You probably don't need everything that might come in a kit.

If you look on YouTube you can watch a video on how to apply BE mineral makeup. Just do a search for it.

Another BE product that I tried in the last month was Skin Rever Upper. I didn't think I'd be able to use it with my sensitive skin and roscea, but my skin LOVES it.

Any questions, ask away. That is how I learned and I am happy to share. My skin has NEVER looked better!!!
