Question I want my poodle spayed!

What is the going rate? Will the SPCA do it or do I need to go to my vet?
Thanks for your help...

When we had our poodle spayed it was around $60. But that's been several years ago.

I know around here that a lot of the non profit animal shelters that are ran by the Animal Welfare league or other organizations offer a reduced fee spaying and neutering program for animals. I would do a search for your area for reduced cost spaying and call the local animal shelters. Our Animal Welfare league gives you a certificate after you pay a set price and you go to the vet that you choose and get the animal fixed sometimes the vet may charge for extra things like pain meds but its a great program.

Search for:

Animal Welfare league

Spay Inc.

We paid $65 each for our puppies to be spayed in December at our vet.
