Anyone do surveys?

I wasn't sure where to put this and if this is the wrong place, I am sorry.

Does anyone here do the online survey gigs? I am registered at a few of them and they all seem to be interconnected. The other thing is that a lot of the surveys are offers to try something free for 30 days, but you have to have a CC to do that. One of the survey places even tell you that if you sign up for whatever the offer is, you can cancel at anytime. You still will get the money that the survey site offered you for signing up.

Has anyone done this? Have you been able to cancel a free 30 day trial and not still get charged for it on your CC? Anyone know where you can do surveys and not have to go through all that hassle?

I would never sign up for something that requires you to call and cancel. I've had trouble with that stuff in the past (long waits on hold, non-toll free phone #s, reps "losing" my request to cancel and things like that). There are many online survey placed that don't require you to purchase anything or sign up for things. Of course most don't pay that well either but face it, no one is going to pay you $20 for nothing. Pinecone is about the best around and they are $5. Most just give points to redeem years from now when you get enough points.

sorry!

I'm a member of a lot of survey groups. Like another poster said, most are for points that you can redeem for gift cards, etc. I do have one besides Pinecone that I do that will offer money and they put it in your Paypal account, too. I made $10.00 off one survey yesterday. The trick is to qualify for the survey. I never do any that asks for a credit card or anything having to do with finances.

I used to, but found that it was more work than it's worth, except for Pinecone. Somehow we fell off the Pinecone wagon. If anyone knows how to get back on please let me know!

I like mysurvey. They will send surveys for my dh & ds also to be added to my acount total. I cashed out for $100.00 in Julu and now I have enough for $67.00. They pay really fast when you cash out. I think you need $10.00 to cash out. They also have differant merchandise to choose from if you would rather cash out for. Some survey are just for 10 points but you might be asked to do a longer one and they will tell you upfront how many points it is worth.

I do a lot of online surveys. The ones I complete have cash incentives or point systems that can be redeemed for cash/gift certificates. I never pay to be a member of these panels. A while back, someone had posted worthwhile sights for online surveys. There is no need to pay to offer your opinion; afterall, your opinion is what the companies are seeking for marketing purposes.

I used to but when we moved, I stopped doing the snail mail ones. I got tired of the junk mail waste in our mailbox. I have also stopped doing the online ones.

DH makes good money now so I don't feel like I need to contribute to my 'mad money' account like I used to. They took a lot of time and I'd make pennies per hour spent. Low wage for sure!

I realized that I could make more on eBay selling unwanted stuff from around the house... much less time spent for the amount of money that I could bring in.
