I can't find any posts regarding today's "The View". Was anything mentioned about Rosie's departure? I forgot to Tivo!

Actually, Rosie annoys me. She's too brash for my taste. That being said, I don't necessarily agree with Elisabeth but at least she has tact.

I'm just jealous because I don't get to watch The View.

I am not taking sides on this issue, but one thing I noted it that Rosie's blog says she has emailed once with Elisabeth and that Kelli talked with her on the phone. EH said (on the Tuesday show) that she and Rosie had talked alot and they were starting the process of forgivness. Again on Ros blog - she said she didn't think she would talk to EH again - posted yesterday. Odd.

Seems like The View is twisting the truth again. I lost all respect for Barbara when she wanted Star to lie about the reason she was leaving the show. After that I don't believe a word out of her mouth. Rosie had posted all weekend that she hadn't spoke to Elizabeth and only respond to one email. She said the same thing again after Elizabeth said they had talked several times.

Also, Barbara talked about how they did the split screens in the past on the show. I watch almost daily and don't recall another fight being split screen. Can anyone refresh my memory to any?

I saw the first ten minutes (all I was interested in). They really sugar-coated everything, and Elizabeth did give the impression that her and Rosie hashed things out. Barbara said that Rosie is welcome to come back anytime, as all of the previous hosts. Then they talked about how all the previous hosts have gone on to such great things, naming Meredith, Star and what they're doing now. Guess they were building up to Rosie will move on to great things???

Acutally, what Elizabeth said was "We have been in communication"-- Rosie said on her blog that they had emailed, but not spoken on the phone. Communication was a good word for Elizabeth to choose. Also, Rosie said Elizabeth and Kelli had spoken on the phone.

Ok, I reread my post and using the word talk was wrong. I consider email talking but I know it really isn't. But I did take it the way Elizabeth said on the show yesterday she had communicated with Rosie more than the one email. Or whatever communication she meant.

I actually think that EH is entitled to the last word - since SHE stuck around!!

Also, I think it was really not classy of Rosie's groupie/employee to deface the EH pictures in the building where they work. I think EH has, for the most part, taken the high road!

I'm not a fan of EH - and I USED to be a fan of Rosie. But now I have changed positions on both ladies. EH deserves a little more respect (from me), based on how she's handled herself, and the horrible confrontation. I mean - Barbara W didn't even turn to EH to offer HER a little support! How rude.

IMO, Rosie is a true coward and the worst kind of bully - she leaves the show, and continues to mouth off on her blog? Perfect for her. She can say what she wants, and nobody can contradict her. Just ideal for her to function that way.

I have lost total respect for The View and am finished watching it. After the split screen of "The fight", I realized how low The View is willing to go. No thanks

I felt like today (Wednesday), The View was back to its old self. It was very informative and you felt the show was at ease. It was about women and money and starting your own business and how to make money.

Now that Rosie is gone ( ) I'll start watching it again. Rosie just wanted to stir up trouble all the time and never seemed to make a point of anything -- just trouble. She is a very troubled, hateful and spiteful woman. Glad she's outta there!

Rosie had strong opinions and had no trouble voicing. I do not for a minute believe she is a mean or hateful person. The time, endorsement and monies she has given to many many charities belies the evil, hateful picture that people are painting of her. I do not agree with all of Rosie's views or opinions. I don't agree will all of EH's either. I don't believe that either was a threat to each other. I do believe that the show will be very bland and boring without Meredith/Rosie, unless they are willing to bring in someone not afraid to speak their mind and opinion.
