My rant for the day, cause I am fed up. I placed 3 separate orders from 3 separate companies on 5/22 and 5/23. None were particularly challenging...books from Amazon, t-shirts from , and a couple of little toys from Oriental Trading.

I have received NOTHING. Amazon just shipped my books yesterday, though they were all in stock. Oriental Trading just shipped yesterday as well. ThinkGeek sent my order DHL@Home. They mailed it from another part of my state on 5/23. It arrived at a post office 15 minutes from me on the 24th. Apparently, it is still there and nobody is sure why. DHL washes their hands of it, the USPS shrugs and says the Sender can put a trace on it (which they did today).

I order online often, I know it was a holiday weekend, but come on!! Oriental Trading charged me $6.95 to ship a couple of tiny things. They could have delivered it by Pony Express by now!

Okay. I'm done. Maybe I need a tranquilizer.

DHL@home is THE WORST as far as a speedy delivery. I've had orders seem to sit at the post office for days before they are delivered. DHL will say the package is at the post office but my mail carrier (and she is awesome) won't have seen them. I don't know if they have a secret hiding spot for the DHL packages of what, but it always seems to take forever to get them. When the Disney Store has free shipping, it is always DHL@home and takes forever, but when I have to pay for shipping, it always seems to come UPS (much faster and more reliable).

When I first moved to GA, Fed Ex Ground could not find my house. I had several pacakges returned to the sender because FedEx Ground (I think it had just switched from RPS at that time) could not find my address. The funny thing was that regular Fed Ex (over night) could find my house just fine. I'm not sure what was up with that, but it was super frustrating, especially since we had just moved from out of state and didn't know where anything was either.
