Yeah, she'll be singing a different tune after a few bouts of explosive diahrea (sp?) or vomiting! My brother used to give us a hard time about using disposable diapers -- I told him that since he's not a parent he's not allowed to have an opinion about what I put in the landfill.

Serious? It didn't strike you as a little absurd and over-the-top, and make you wonder just a bit that it was a joke? Oh well, either way, Sheryl Crow is a strong, smart, beautiful, and talented singer, a breast cancer survivor, an earth-friendly activiist, and now a Mom. I think she's fantastic! cj/ |

Well, if it was a joke, then I guess the statements she made after it were jokes too -- about how she is developing a new line of napkins and kleenex so there won't be any need for paper ones. I agree with some other posters who said she meant it and then decided to change it to 'a joke' because it certainly backfired on her and made her look like such a silly little girl. |

I'm going to agree to disagree because I believe it was posted in jest. But no matter the original intent, I don't see why the media or anyone else for that matter would choose to focus on the one square of toilet paper comment rather than on all the positives, including the 11-stop college tour to increase awareness in global warming. I swear women are their own worst enemies. cj/ |
