Local news-Man kills woman after traffic altercation

This is big news here in Ft Lauderdale. Apparently this guy and the woman he killed were in a minor traffic accident. He didn't stop so they followed him in traffic and confronted him. The woman stood in front of his van so he wouldn't leave. He drove forward causing her to hop on the hood of the van, drove over two miles with her hanging on until she finally fell off and was dragged to her death. He then hops on a plane to flee the country. They caught him on the plane on the tarmac, and brought the plane back.

What do you think about this one?

Lawyer: Suspect in dragging death of Fort Lauderdale woman was afraid: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

This what gives me the chills.
Dragged to death

I think both sides behaved like idiots. Why attempt to flee the scene? Why on earth did that woman stand in front of the van? Why not take his plate number and just call the police? And why couldn't the van driver drive around the woman? Such an awful story, made worse by the fact that it was completely avoidable. Both sides wrong and now one is dead and the other's life is probably ruined as well.

Wow--- I'm glad they were able to get him before he left for Greece. I don't think it's fair that people can fly out of the country to avoid punishment for their crimes.

Yeah he was afraid all right - afraid of getting in trouble for rear ending someone and then fleeing the scene.
At the accident, he did not even have to get out of the car. He could have rolled up the window, called 911 (or I'm sure someone else would have done so) and waited for the police in the car.

I do agree with truble that the lady was not wise for stepping in front of the van. She did not know him or what type of person she was dealing with - especially considering he had just rear ended their car and ran. Best thing to do would take the tag number and call the police. Instead, she is dead. Terrible.
I hope Hamze will think about what he should have done while he sits in prison.

Wow, it's amazing how quickly things can escalate. I feel so sorry for the families in situations like this, because this will be on the news for a while, and they will have it in their face non stop.

Its a shame that the woman & her husband didn't just follow him long enough to get the tag number and call the police.
