Sandra Oh is without a beau.
ABC Television Studio confirmed to E! News Thursday that Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy this fall.
Publicist Howard Bragman said that Washington got a call earlier in the day informing him that he was "not invited back to the show next season," prompting this Network-inspired statement from the 43-year-old actor:
"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."


Saw this on a link from my home page. I think it's too bad, he apologized and did some other things, and I really thought this was behind everyone, but, apparently not.

That interesting.....I could have sworn not long after the finale aired that he released a statement saying he would be back next season.....I don't like having him just leave like that (on the show I mean) poor cristina is already a mess and now will not be able to resolve anything with Burke

Never watched the show, but think that he handled the situation very poorly. Now he is being very defiant and saying he is "not going to take it." However, his contract was up, and the producers have every right to NOT rehire him for any reason (let along a major one like this). I think the working relationships on set were very strained - and not just with TJ, but other actors on the show were very offended by what he said.

They will probably come up with a very clever way to close the relationship and reward Oh's character in some way so it may even be better for her

So is TJ Knight coming back? His character George failed his exam. I'm guessing the announcement was made after the season finale so as not to spoil it. I hadn't heard he wouldn't be back. They need a little revamping of the show anyway because it is starting to lag this last season a little.

I totally agree....they do need to revamp some. I just hope they don't pick up with the new interns and leave the others on the sidelines. I haven't heard about "George" but I thought I read somewhere that Calli would only be back for a couple of shows next season.....so could be interesting to see if he was coming back. Only one I ever felt was safe on the show other then "McDreamy" was Meredith since it is called "Grey's Anatomy" but now that they brought in a sister that's not even the case.
