| Tyson Foods ground beef recall

Thanks for the link with the details. I didn't even know Tyson produced ground beef I thought they only processed chicken products. DH heard something about this on the news this morning, but didn't get any details. I was concerned since we do live in one of the affected states. However, I don't buy meat at Walmart so we are safe THIS TIME. All this reacall stuff is getting a bit much, I don't ever remember this many different items being recalled so close together.

Tyson produces beef, pork and chicken. This is taken from the sight: Consumers are reminded that thorough cooking kills harmful bacteria, including E. coli O157:H7. Consumers should only eat ground beef that has been cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F. I really don't see a problem with any beef that was purchased that isn't included in the recall. |

I don't eat any meat from Walmart unless it's something prepackaged from another company, like a whole turkey or sandwich meat or something like that. I don't like the idea that all their meat has an "added solution" to it for whatever reason they add it, I won't eat it.
