So...what is a good site for downloading music?

DH and I have been looking to start downloading music, and with so many sites out there I was just wondering what ones y'all used. I don't want to mess up my computer......

Thanks

iTunes
Yahoo Music - I have a 2 year subscription. It's okay. Works well because I have a Sansa now and it's easy for me to buy and drag music onto my player.
SonicStage - I use them because the AquaFresh toothpaste and some tootbrush packages offered free music download codes. I would buy a lot of toothpaste because it would be so cheap or free at times.

The prices of music downloads are about 99¢ each

Thanks I going to go look at the sites now.......if you have an MP3 player other then an Ipod, do you have to do anything special for a download....? I vaguely remember a friend saying she had conflicts with itunes....

Correct.
I think there is a download that you can convert the iTunes music to your music player format. From my understanding iTunes is in MP4 format and most players use MP3. But I am so not technical and that's about as far as my expertise goes, lol. You may do a google search using keywords 'convert itunes music' and you should get some links to download.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you a little better.

yep... it's all free on limewire....music, movies, etc.

It's also all free on mIRC--the dowfall to mIRC is that you have to KNOW (really know) your DOS codes.
