Do you have "missing" money?

Check out this sight to see if you have missing money:

P.S. Didn't know where to put this

I found my dad's name on there. I called him and told him to check into it.

I did this last year and checked my family's names. My daughter-in-law was on there and got a little over $200 from a college refund (that she knew nothing about). Then my son received somewhere around $30 from a state tax refund (even though his address has never changed). Don't know why they couldn't find him!!

So it does work!! Check it out -- you may be owed money.

Wanted to thank the OP and also to let people know this is legit. The list for VA ran in our local newspaper.
Both DH and I have unclaim money. Do not know how much yet...but do know that it is from Athem and another one Nationwide. Just got a letter have to send info proving we lived at our last address (we moved to this house 9 years ago).

Wow, what a shocker! DH is listed on there, from our old address of 7 years ago. Another surprise, my father-in-law is on there. But here's a dilemma: my FIL is deceased. Does anyone know how that can be claimed? (For DH and his sister, I mean.) I don't know how that would be handled.

Thanks for any help, and thanks to the OP for this post!

My mom called for her dad who was deceased. She had to provide a death certificate and fill out some papers to get the money. I found money for my brother (check from a former employer), my neighbor (old bank account, enough for a dinner out), and my mom (ins. policy on my Grandpa). Now I found a friend (who moves from state to state working wherever the big bucks are) who is listed. I emailed him and we'll see what happens.

Darn....no missing money for us! Would have loved to have a little for a pair of boots that I've been eyeing...

Did find my In-Laws and my Grandfather on the list, so I will contact them and let them know....

Thanks OP!
