Ladies did my dishwasher die?

I was unloading my dishwasher when I noticed it was dripping a drop at a time from the thing on the top that turns and spits out the water. My dh says it is dead. It is a least 10 years old. Any repair people out there?

Have you tried to run it yet?
Have you had any more problems with it lately?
How does it clean?
What brand is it?

I read on a website that the average life of a dishwasher is 9-12 years.
This site: Appliance Life Expectancy says 10 years.

The sprayer arm? Dripping water? I'd try running it again. Doesn't sound like a problem to me.

not sure, since we just bought our house and had this one installed.

As far as this one goes, we absolutely love it!! you can use one drawer if you have a light load / gentle load...and use the other drawer for pots/pans/etc. or not at all.

Doesn't sound like too bad of a problem to me. I've had problems with my dishwasher before and googled the problem and fixed it myself.

Just google it and you'll be surprised at the number of repair sites and how to fix it without a repairman. But it doesn't sound like anything bad to me.

Maybe one of your sprayers is clogged a bit and is dripping leftover water.
