A police officer where I live was killed yesterday during a procession for the funeral of another officer here in Covington! It's is SO sad. What a freak accident! We were driving home when it happened and noticed all the police cars and police motorcycles, but we figured it was just for the procession. Here's the article. Oh NO! I know most of the people in that article That is just so sad

I can't hardly read NOLA.com anymore...it just makes me so homesick.

My DHs a police officer (10 years now) and it always hits home here. It always sad when one of the few true heros in the world today dies.
