My ds who is 7 puts ketchup on everything and today he reached a new low, he put it on pancakes! I found this really gross at 7 in the morning but my dh is let him do it. Okay, what do your darlings put on their food to eat it??

I just threw up a little in my mouth!!!

My kids don't really have any little food quirks like that!!

But, the ketchup thing was funny and gross at the same time!!

My ds puts ketchup on everything too. Pizza, cheetos, eggs, potato chips, etc. I saw a doctor on tv once that said people crave foods that they are allergic too.

My 3 yr old dd will eat just plain ketchup if she can get away with it.......if I want her to eat something, we put ketchup on it. She has even eating m&m's with ketchup.....I don't know how she does it, since I don't really care for ketchup on anything.......

My almost 7 year old loves to dip foods. For example, this morning she had a sausage and biscuit, grapes and chocolate milk for breakfast. She dipped her grapes in her chocolate milk. If she has applesauce with anything, she dips it in the applesauce. She puts mashed potatoes on top of her brown and serve roll and eats it that way. It looks really gross but she eats it so who am I to deny her?

OP, a friend of mine was telling me a story about someone she knew who would not let her kids have any form of sugar, including syrup. And yet this mom still cooked pancakes for the kids and offered them ketchup in place of syrup, lol!!

It's good on cucumbers

Mine don't use it very much, most of it goes towards making sauces.

When my dd was little she dipped grapes in ketchup. She still loves it, but when both girls were little they ate ketchup & butter both plain! Ewwww!

for a while, I would catch my youngest eating BUTTER straight out of the fridge. He's five now, should I be worried about clogged arteries?

Both of my kids love butter. If we go to a restaurant where they have little packs of butter/margarine, my kids open it and eat it plain. Forget the rolls or bread it was intended for!
And I always keep Parkway spray margarine for popcorn. They spray it straight into their mouths. I just don't get it....how they do that! Gross to me.

I use it on eggs and hash browns.. my dd thinks that's pretty gross, but that's what I've done my entire life.

One of my friends is famous for putting ketchup on her turkey -- on Thanksgiving! This is a woman in her 40's. Go figure!

My kids and I love ketchup on our tacos. Most people think we are crazy doing this.

3togetready-my SIL does the same thing(ketchup on tacos). I have cousins who eat it on corn and pinto beans. My daughter only eats it on her hamburgers and french fries and my 10 year old son won't even taste ketchup....

We've had ketchup on everything. I've done alot of weird things with it too..but mostly

eggs, meatloaf, the standard: burgers, fries, hot dogs. I've put it on tuna fish. DS and my MIL put it on their mac and cheese...
I guess as long as they are eating the food part..I guess it doesn't matter.

DS used to make ketchup sandwiches..

I put ketchup on my eggs too! (scrambled only) My dad taught me to eat them that way and I still do it, can't eat them without ketchup.

I put ketchup on EVERYTHING...from Pinto Beans to Potato Chips! LOVE Ketchup! I literally can't eat with out it, lol.

My son puts vinegar on everything! I mean everything!

Quirk? Growing up I would only eat Lima Beans covered in ketchup. So glad that I am adult so I don't have to eat them t all.

My homemade mac & cheese and meatloaf, scrambled eggs all get ketchup.

My DD had a Cheese and Ketchup sandwich for lunch...I say YUCK...but she likes them

My dd eats it on everything....sausage bisquits,eggs,doritos, oh there is so much more I cant even remember....but our whole family does dip our popcorn in ketchup...I am 41 yrs old and my family has eaten that way my whole life....Sherri
