DEET is the best. I have tried a lot of different products and swear by Deep Woods Off. Glad to know so many of us are yummy to mosquitos.

I am a sweet treat to the mosquitos, I use off WITH DEET!! I remember trying to use all other stuff that was DEET-FREE, It was junk. Anything without DEET should be banned!! LOL

The school nurse and I were talking about using Noxzema on sunburn. She said the last time she had used Noxzema and went for a walk that evening, the mosquitos didn't bother her. I like the smell of Noxzema, so it wouldn't bother me.

The noxzema thing, where did she put it?

Was it just used and washed off of her face? or did she rub it in everywhere?

I would think that since she had a sunburn, she had it on at least her arms and neck, possibly her legs also. I'd try rubbing it in on all exposed areas. As with using repellent, when you go inside, take a shower and wash off.

My middle son use to have a problam with mosquitos. We could all be outside at the same time and the rest of the family might have a couple of bites. He would be covered in them and than they would get filled with fluid. Our doctor told us to give him vitimin E capsules. He took one a day. It really did help. We would start it about a month before summer to get it in his system.
