Animal Cruelty--so very sad!!!

This is so sad!!!

I am actually ticked that all he got was 90 days in jail!!!

On an added note, we went today to look at our next pet--when we are ready to get it: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel... she is 4 weeks old now... won't be ready to go for a few more weeks. she is just ADORABLE!!

Anyway...here is the link to the cruelty article.
It's really simply disgusting--both what he did and what the justice system gave him as punishment!

How horrible!

Now why can't HE be coated in cooking oil and fed to a snake!!?! People end up doing things like this and they never have to really pay for it.

Cruelty to animals...children...elderly...anyone/anything defenseless...breaks my heart.

Feeling a need to go hug on my sweetie puppy girls!

I'm speechless....90 days certainly does not seem to be sufficient, but anymore most punishments don't seem to fit the crime......

Going to go snug my doggy right now.

This is about the worst cruelty case I have read about. Just beyond thinkable.

I did read last week in our local paper an article about puppy mills and how the dogs are so mistreated. In one case, a pregnant rottweiler had some sort of an infection in her leg or foot. The breeder cut her leg off with a saw trying to keep her alive long enough to give birth! They need a special place to lock up these people.

But what makes this any different than feeding the snake a rabbit or rat, both of which people keep as pets too?

Angry

Anybody that could hurt a defenseless animal like that is just an idiot. I can just imagine how pleasant they are to humans. That makes me sick. Donna

I guess I think of that as isn't that what snakes might eat in the wild? Not that I don't appreciate the rodent family. I had my share of hamsters and even a prairie dog!

I can't imagine too many 3 week old domesticated puppies in the wild.
