Do you watch Army Wives?

I just love this show. It comes on Lifetime. I think it comes on every Sunday, I have it DVR'ed so I'm not sure.

If you haven't seen it catch it if you can it's really good.

I am an AF wife and I don't like it at all. It seems its painting a bad light on the AW. I know I wouldn't have a wine tasting parting at the Commanders house or tell off a Colonel's wife, etc. I am debating writing a letter to Lifetime. They have an opportunity to show the good side of these wives and I personally don't feel they are doing a good job.

Like I said I am AF, so I could be totally wrong, just giving my TCW.

I agree with the wine tasting party with the CO being far fetched but will say I have told off wives of the higher ranking before. Just because my husband is military it doesn't mean I have to put up with wives wearing their husbands rank. My husband is a SGT not I so the LT's wife isn't a LT in my eyes, she is a nothing like me. I've also told off various people in my husbands unit and NG unit but then again I am a b*tch! My husband hasn't been reprimanded over my doing so either. Everyone knows Sgt. I's wife isn't to be messed with!

I have a problem with wives who think they wear their husbands rank......but unfortunately in some instances wives of higher ranking NCO's and Officer's have more influence and/or responsibility depending on how involved they are in the happenings of the unit.....I do fully believe all spouses should be treated equally, but know it doesn't happen, and I've been on both sides of the fence.....

I have wanted to watch the show out of curiosity but have held back(its on my DVR) because I get upset easily when I see shows or movies with a bad portrayal of the military.

I am an Army Wife of 18 years now and I have watched the show 3 times now. It is so unrealistic for the most part....but the part where they told the lady that her husband's blackhawk went down hit home. My husband is a pilot and we just lost a good friend 2 weeks ago in a helicopter crash. It rubbed a raw nerve with me..... that is just a very sensitive subject right now.

I watch the show, and I love it. I think my favorite is Roxy-- she is a hoot.
