I have around 15-20 lbs to lose, I have read that Alli works best on people who have 20 lbs or less to lose. Wondering if anyone here can share thier experience with Alli.

I was tempted to buy some...I still have 15-20 I'd like to loose...ANyways, I'm pretty sure their website said that for my height and weight, they DIDN'T recommend I needed to use their product....(they have a chart with weights and if you should take it) EDITED TO ADD...Thats weird I just went back to look for the chart with height/weights they had up a few weeks ago and its gone!! It something like If you are this height and weigh more than xx Alli is right for you...hmmm but now that chart is gone...(CONSPIRACY!!!!)

Anyways, sorry I can't help if it works or not...I'm so tempted to try it, considering I'd like to drop that last 15-20lbs...I just thinking to myself, IF I could drop the 35lbs without a pill, I can do it alone the rest of the way

I have also wanted to try it. My husband saw it at Wally- World and told me about it. (HM wonder if he was hinting ROFL ).... He didn't hint or even suggest I buy it, he picked it up and was reading it, I saw him and asked what it was, he told me it was the ONLY FDA approved pill to lose weigh.

I have lost almost 25 lbs in the last 3 months, Down from size 20 to 18 ,16 in some cases But I want to lose about 20 or 30 more lbs... Would LOVE to get back to what I weighed and wore before I had my kiddos. Never see em days again I don't believe ( Weighed around 100 -110 and wore size 7 pants LOL )

But em days are long gone So I'll settle to lose another 20 to 30 lbs.

I think this is similar to the Xenical that came out several years ago as a prescription. This is the first one over the counter FDA approved. Xenical had the same side effects and could be quite uncomfortable. I think if you follow the directions and eat only meals with less than 15 grams of fat you don't get the side effects. I'm not sure I haven't checked out the web site. I need to lose a TON of weight so I doubt it would be for me anyway. Wish that chart was still available.

We were taking about this in my drug therapy class on Thursday. It is Xenical. My teacher was telling us that when Xenical came out the drug rep gave everyone in the office samples. She did not take it but a co-worker did and the side effects were terrible. She had leakage of orangish fatty stuff and would think that she needed to leave gas but was really not just gas.

yet another drug that can make me skinny... they haven't made one that has worked yet, so i'm not buying the hype.. I'm going to start weight watchers anytime now and just learn how to eat right.

I tried the drug back when it was an RX for Xenical I think it was a higher dose than what Alli is over the counter. Yeah I lost weight on it, but the orange leaky stuff was not fun, you try to pass gas and you get more than you bargain for. also if you are prone to kidney stones and even if you are not it can and does give you more trust me I was miserable on it even though I lost weight on it. I was doing it along with a Dr's recommended diet plan and after about 6 weeks on it I had to stop I was ruining my undies and I hated carrying extra pairs around with me to work and praying that I would make it to the bathroom in time before I leaked. Gross I know but it worked I would NOT use it again even on the lower does I would use Weight Watchers or have Gatric Bypass or Lap Band surgey before I would use Xenical or its "Sister" Alli again.

LOL YEP!! Thats why I was tempted but DIDN'T get it!! I actually do really well eating a low fat clean diet 90% of the time now...IF I fall off the wagon though (or eat a trigger food) then its hard to get back on track...Really I dont have that much left to loose!!

I have been on it for a week now. So far no loose stools but then I rarely eat high fat meals. My attitude is if I can do ANYTHING to help, I will try it. I do take two pills with my supper. (2 Alli=1 Xenical) I do not eat fat at breakfast or lunch so I do not take the Alli at either of those meals. My guess is that persons with oily, orange stools are eating high fat meals.
