The body of a woman, believed to be Jessie Davis, has been found. The boyfriend has been charged with two counts of murder; one for Jessie, and one for her unborn baby, Chloe.

I knew from the moment that this was announced that this was another "Scott Peterson" story waiting to be told. Jessie's mom knew immediately, too, that this was the outcome, I am sure. Her first call to 911, when the 911 operator said something about Jessie "leaving her son by himself", the mom got immediately defensive of her daughter and said "She would never leave her son alone." Sad news to be sure....I hope this b@$t@rd is strongly tortured in jail while awaiting trial where he will be sentenced to death.

My prayers go to the family and those who love them.

AMEN! These people need to be put in front of their victims relatives and stoned to death or punished however they see fit.

Well, I can't say that I was surprised, but like everyone else I had hoped that Jessica or Chloe would be found alive. And little Blake will grow up learning that his sperm donor (he doesn't deserve the title"Father") killed both his Mother and little sister. Our tax monies don't need to be feeding and supplying medical care to Cutts. What a waste.

It's definitely a poor reflection of the Canton Police Department. I believe that the reason why they kept saying he was NOT a suspect is because he was a cop on their force!!

I feel so sad for this family.

Perhaps the reason the little boy didn't freak out was because he KNEW who the intruder/perpetrator was. For the rest of their lives will be forever ruined by this single event and a community will take an extremely long time to heal.

My prayers to the Davis family and to the community (especially Carrie) of Jessie Davis.

I was saddened to hear this my DH was outside cutting tile and he could her me shouting nasty words at the TV during the news conference. I knew that poor excuse for a man had something to do with it was a gut feeling. I hope they put him in General Population and some of his arrestees make him into their little B-word or that they beat the living daylights out of him, he deserves the death penalty I dont know if Ohio has it but he deserves nothing less.

Carrie wherever you are tonight I hope that your community is going to start on the way to healing and bless you for helping to search for Jessie Davis wish it could have been a better outcome.

The Canton Police in the conference I heard pretty much stepped back and let the Sheriffs office and FBI do everything so as to not be accused of being favorable to one of their own. The Chief said he will be treated no different than any criminal charged with murder of two individuals.

CANTON, Ohio - A massive search ended in sadness Saturday when authorities announced they found a body believed to be a pregnant woman who vanished from her home a week earlier. A police officer believed to be the father of the unborn child was arrested on two counts of murder. Jessie Davis, 26, who was due to deliver a baby girl on July 3, was reported missing after her mother found Davis' 2-year-old son home alone, bedroom furniture toppled and bleach spilled on the floor.


The boy gave investigators their first clues. "Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in rug," the boy said.

I hope they castrate him and feed him his testacles for dinner!!!!

I have seen it a hundred times- sometimes they are holding out for harder evidence, waiting for the suspect to slip up etc etc

Canton was named the number 10 most dangerous cities in the newspapers nationwide for 2 yearsin a row.. The police dept lost my respect when it hit the top 10, but to keep cutts out of the limelight as a suspect really just blew my mind. Why not smear his name like they did scott petersons right off the bat as a suspect... I'll tell ya why.. he's one of their own. the whole thing makes me sick.
why is it canton police conducting this instead of north canton.. like i said I've been a way for a week but I thought she lived in Jackson Township? am I wrong? they were showing uniontown on msnbc when I was watching from n. carolina.

Also something to consider, he left hisl ittle boy whom he has known and loved supposedly for 2 yrs alone in that house for something like 34 hours. It is a miracle he didn't accidentally light the house on fire, or get out and get hit by a car, or any one of a hundred things that could have happened to him. Also he is supposdly saying Jesse suffered some type of seizure while he was there; he did not kill her...

What a creep I cannot believe some people what I cant believe about the 2yr old is that he didnt get into that bleach that was left on the carpet that would have not been good at all. I hope this creep they keep calling a cop which I just cant picture him a cop at all burns in you know where. This poor women & her babies deserved much much better.

She deserved to get pregnant by a better guy. The thing that creeps me out is that he was a boyfriend, not a stranger. I always wonder, in cases like this, what it'd take for a man to kill a partner before she has their baby, and why women choose to be with men like that.

This is truely a sad case and i hope justice is served. From what her sister said and she was confident that her sister never ever opened the door unless she knew the person and there was no force of entry, so it was defidently someone she knew and in this case i think its him. The whole thing is just sad the baby didn't have a chance at life and the poor 2yr will grow up with no mother

I agree, also when they investigate a police officer they have to be on their P's and Q's to make sure they got him. He was probably #1 suspect from the beginning.

Second arrest in Jessie murder. I am guessing the lady ( Myisha Ferrell) is the friend of Bobby Cutts, Jr they were talking about yesterday. But not positive. Can't find anything online yet about it.

This man yesterday was arrested at the memorial service for his wife and kids. She had no gun powder on her hands. What a creep!
