She is a conservative columnist and proclaimed political commentator....and a best-selling author. She's made her name by causing controversy through political dialogue. She was with MSNBC for a while until they let her go for an off-color remark made to a disabled Vietnam Vet. She started showing up on Fox and CNN. Coulter show up on all of those shows like O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Crossfire and such. She has written a few politically charged books, all which have been pretty successful....I also remember reading her column when George magazine was still in print. She tends to stick her foot in her mouth a lot....like what happened with the vet on MSNBC and with the comments she made about 9/11 widows, which were generalized and very harsh.

She is showing up in the news lately because of the comments she's made publicly about John Edwards and his family. At a televised conference, she dropped the "other F" word (the same one that got Isaiah Washington bumped from Grey's) in reference to Edwards. When confronted about it, she laughed it off and felt she had done nothing wrong....she felt that using the "F" word was a taunt...and saw nothing wrong with the use of the word. There was also comments made about Edwards capitalizing on the death of his son as a way to raise money and get votes. Edwards wife finally had enough and called into a show where Coulter was appearing and told her enough was enough.

I find her conservative rhetoric a little off putting....mostly because she comes off as a bias loudmouth, who takes every chance to put on a short skirt, remind everyone of her law degree, and just say whatever will get her in the papers that day. I think there are other conservative women out there that are more admirable, and do not carry opportunistic agenda like Coulter.

she is a ah right wing type with extreme views, made some controversial remarks about 9/11, had a column where she would write somewhat outrageous conservative political stuff...she called edwards a (homosexual slur) and made a crack about how he (john edwards) should have a bumper sticker on his car saying ask me about my dead child...

i think she's only in the news right now because mrs edwards called in when coulter was on some talk show and edwards told coulter to stop personal attacks like the low blow about her son who died

i think coulter belongs on a trashy reality show like flavor of love...trashy people who try to say or do outrageous things to get air time

Ann Coulter is a rude, ignorant bitch who gets publicity and sells her piece of crap books (yes I HAVE read at least one of them). She uses hysteria, insults, and stupidity to call attention to herself. She hates anyone who is not super conservative and cannot, does not, will not, find ONE SINGLE GOOD THING to say about anyone who is not conservative to the point of being sickening.

The political system is broke and it's a joke.

DH worked with her when she was a college student/summer employee in a small mining town in the 80's. He said that she was a b!tch even then and he's not usually one to say that about anyone. She was a 'nobody' then (still is, if you ask me!) and just basically has a really big mouth but is considered pretty and has a good figure.

I heard she made a comment about John Edwards getting blown up, or something. Very odd woman, IMO. I am pretty sure she also wrote a book about the 9/11 widows, and also had some crap to say about working moms. I don't read what she has written, doesn't interest me.

Ann Coulter is dangerous because she is educated, is fairly well-spoken and is considered pretty (if you like skeletor-like, anorexic bleach blonde slutty dressing women----in other words, a man). She is dangerous because she demands a stage with her acerbic wit (half-witted if you were to ask me), and gives other ultra-conservatives an excuse or permission to be rabidly brutal in her speech and writings. She has called 9/11 widows and survivors harpies in an interview in NYC of all places (makes me really question her intelligence); has been vicious in her attacks on all democrats, but on the Clintons to a high degree, and to any and all politicians who are not ultra-conservative republicans. What she did call Edwards was a "fa$$ot"; accused Edwards of using the tragic death of his 16 year old son's untimely death to further his politcal career by placing a bumper sticker on his car that said "Ask Me About My Dead Son" (totally untrue...but most of what she says is untrue or has such a tiny iota for truth in the statement at all); and this week said she would no longer call Edwards names---just would say that from now on she hopes a terrorist blows him up with a bomb. Hmmmmmmm, sounds like a person with desperation in her vocabulary.

She is mean, vicious, evil, heartless, cruel and so ugly on the inside that I truly find her grotesque to look at.
