Only thing I can think of is Boppers granola bars

They were a creamy peanut butter rolled in crispy rice and tiny choc chips.
I thought that my family alone ate enough of them to kep them on the market!

7 up candy bar. It was a chocolate bar with 7 sections like chocolate, coconut, carmel etc. I have found old candy bars at hometownfavorites but these are not made anymore.

Oh man, I thought I would be the only one to remember 7 Up candy bars. I used to love those because it was like getting 7 different little candy bars.

New York Seltzer-the stuff they have out now isn't as good.
Some chips that had cinnamon on them, can't remember the name.
Some fruit bar that was like a bar of fruit snack type material. Those were good.

3-d doritos. I never liked regular doritos because the spice was too heavy. But 3-d doritos were lighter.

My dh reminded me of another thing. Giant candy bars which were given at Halloween. In the Catholic school I attended, the nuns would give them to us at Halloween. They were made in Chicago. Also Ripon Good cookies out of Milwaukee.

I lived at a 7-11 as a kid!

I LOVED charms pop..back in the day..in the 70's..these things were HUGE! Not charms blow pops..but they were wrapped in the colored cellophane..so a blue pop would be wrapped in blue colored wrapper . They had a sweet sour taste. REALLY good and REALLY cheap !

I also collected wacky packs. I would put them all over my notebook and locker.

16 0z soda pop in glass bottles sold at a 7-112 in a cooler. Very tall bottle and needed a pop bottle opener to open..no twist offs.

from the ice cream man..they sold these ice treats that were in an upside down plastic cylander. They had a bum ball on the bottom..usually came in a twisy sherbet combo..needed a wooden spoon to eat. Good Humor aslo sold eclairs that had a chocl bar in the middle...mmmmmmm...

school pizza school ice cream sandwhichs... school mashed potatoes

Razzles too ! gum and a candy !

Hubba Bubba bubble gum

Guess what???? You can STILL buy Wacky Packs! They have them at Target, up front, near all the baseball/football/etc trading cards! I too collected these as a kid - at just 25 cents a package (yes, I know I'm really dating myself there! ) and I almost flipped when I first saw these several months ago. Now I've gotten my 3 kids, especially DD (7) into collecting them, Now they're $.99/pk. Still as much fun as I remember!

And Screwballs were *always* my favorite thing to buy from the ice cream man, That's what I always bought. Too bad (or is it?) the ice cream man doesn't really come into our development, I'm not sure why that is. (We see the ice cream trucks around, just not in our subdivision.) I believe those were probably .50 maybe? I'm sure if I ever saw the prices for what they charge today from the ice cream truck I'd have a heart attack!

Anyone remember buying Charm Pops (I think that was what they were) and if they had a paper in them with a star (I think) you got a free one. I remember going to Little League games and buying them not because I really wanted one but because I wanted to win a second one. LOL Also is there anyone around my age that remembers a pudding you bought and squished up in a bag and ate like an Astronaut? I also loved Fizzies. You put them in water and made a drink. My favorite was root beer. They came out with them again but they were not as good.

Not that I ever ate these, but a friend and I were talking this morning about Gaines Burgers for dogs. Do they still make those ? I used to think they were the neatest things to feed a dog.

I remember the pudding things..forget what they were called, though.

I remember the microwave shakes

How about real penny candy ? 7-11 sold it..tootsie rolls and carmels. If you got 48 cents in change you bought 48 pieces of candy !

Hmm, I can't find the info now on Google, but several weeks ago I did a search. Somewhere on the web it said that Peter Pan PB won't return to the shelves until end of July/August. So it will still be several weeks before it's back in the stores.

I did see that this recall is costing ConAgra between $50-60 million dollars. To be honest, I'm surprised it's not more.

I remember the commercials for Marathons, too - "MARATHON...Lasts a good...long...time."

I also miss "Body Buddies" cereal - you could send a way for these neat things if you had "Three Body Buddie Box Bottoms"

I also miss these hair products:

"Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific," and "Farrah Faucet" shampoos as well as "Tame" clean rinse. They smelled so good!

I've seen "Gee your hair smells terrific" on ebay. I was tempted to buy some but thought if it is old it might not smell so terrific anymore.

I remember flavor straws, they came in chocolate and strawberry and you put them in your milk. Also welches had a candy bar called the frappe bar. my favorite shampoo was lemon up. sen sens they still make these though they are hard to find. Remember when you could go into the five and dime at the soda counter and brake a ballon and that was the price you had to pay for a sundea.

I can help you out here with the straws. Walgreens has recently started selling these "Sip Ahhh" straws for $2/box! (There are 10 straws per box.) I told the cashier I guess these were new and he told me that actually, he remembered them from a long time ago and now they're being sold again. I have seen strawberry, chocolate, banana and cookies and cream. My kids like them but they are rather sweet for my taste.

Go to Walgreens and enjoy!
