I get the impression that some of you actually *KNOW* each other???

I know that several that do a lot of "business" on Tips of the Trade have couponed together.

And I do that many years ago, several of the MCers had a "get together".

I don't "know" a single person on this board in the physical world.

Great post...I've often wondered the same thing. I met the leader of the travel board once...Julie I believe. We were the only two to show up at Target at 8:00 a.m. one morning when it was supposed to go 75%, but was scanning only 50%...I knew that she had to be a MC'er because she was scanning, scanning, scanning and seemed as frustrated as me that things weren't 50%! LOL... Either I asked her or she asked me. She was really nice, but I've never run into her since...They built a Target closer to her house which she goes to now I think. I've referred people I've seen in Target to this board...One lady didn't know a thing about us until I told her...I see her in Target once in awhile, but she never speaks. Bizarre... PennyPincherForSix and I have emailed eachother...We have talked about meeting up, but we never had as we both have kids and are busy all the time...Hopefully we will soon though! I like seeing people from here and would love to have a get together...Any Atlanta burbs people interested? ~Lisa

Not from this board but another diet board I frequent we had a big get together. It was a lot of fun to put names to faces. We went to Disneyworld and i actually went alone... no kids or dh! I would love to meet up with people from here too. I live in the way northern burbs of chicago

I am friends with two people that I have met off this board, one friend I have known for about 7 1/2 years, the other one maybe 3-4 years. We have talked on the phone, visit each others houses, attend each others kids birthday parties, kids weddings even a funeral, sometimes shop together, trade items and kids clothes. One has become a really good friend (we even got a job together and worked for the same company for about 3 years) the other is a good friend that I don't get to see or talk to as much as I would like. I haven't seen either one post here in awhile though.

mrk11118 and I are friends...our girls go to school together , we hang out together a few times a week, our dh's are becoming friends & sharing man things like tools and we talk on the phone most days.

My sis just joined and her name is tchr..something or other.

So that makes 2 for me that I know IRL.

I don't know anyone from the board now. I know someone who used to frequent here a lot, but she's not on much anymore. She's my BEST buddy from HS.

You guys would recognize me in an instant though. I'm the one you exchange the quick glance with before the target doors open and we both run for the buggies and then race each other to the clearance.

Nope, don't know anyone from here in real life...BUT I think it would be awesome!

The funny thing about meeting obrother was my mil told me that she might be a psycho killer and to keep my phone close to me at all times because I was bringing with me my then 9 month old son...well, it turns out she and her husband were the sweetest people and full of love and friendship. We met at a Kroger and I had oreos for her and she had softsoap for me...lol!!

Everyone else I met during a hard core couponing trip...I was the only one who didn't travel more than 30 miles...Fort Wayne is THE place to shop...at least it was before stupid Meijer changed their coupon policy

Everyone else I have met though is awesome and very sharing. I love to "shop" for them if they come up here and then they help me by sharing their coupons that I wouldn't normally get in our area.

I met two people from here a few years ago one i met at Acme in Milltown, NJ I was there for triple couponing and she noticed my binder so we talked for a few min. Another we chatted on here and met at the mall for lunch. I dont know what happend to her though. When I was in NC I talked to Darlene (I forgot the numbers after her name) and someone else (sorry my mind went blank) and we were suppose to meet but I only lived there for 6 months and during my time there, I spent most of it traveling back to NJ because i was home sick. I would love to meet everyone from here

I am the best of friends with someone on this board! I think she only posts on the TOT board for the most part, but she got me started in all this, and I will be forever grateful! We used to make road trips to Angola IN to do doubles and triples before Meijer changed their policy, and while we we there we met a lady who used to do an e-letter called "coupon cuties" which told of all the great deals every week! I felt like I met the Queen of England that night!

I too would love to meet up with a bunch of people on this board! It would be fun to put faces with names!
