What are you going to cook for dinner?(or takeout)

I am cooking plain ole'boring baked chicken with fresh corn on the cob (YUMMERS!!) and green beans. We have bread about 3 times a week and we will be having it tonight!! I love the french bread that Publix bakes (i slice and toast it in the oven) This is the dinner that my family knows we have done to much that day and this is the dinner they get!!
What are you guys eating tonight?

I put a pot roast in the crock pot this morning. OK OK that isnt true. Hubby put the pot roast in and I just added carrots, potatoes and onions.

He is the cook in the family, I just follow instructions when it is my turn to cook.

MIL is coming tomorrow from NYC for a week, and we are leaving for camping on 7/5... so, I have been cleaning the house and doing laundry in between looking at avatars that might possibly show nudity on the cafe and reading posts at the sand castle where someone needs to be booted from or persuaded into sharing the penthouse suite with the rest of the members...

So...what's for dinner?

whatever falls and breaks your foot when you open the freezer door.

and... if you use it, you wash it.

We are having frozen pizza too! I think I'll go put together a tossed salad before I leave for my doctor's appointment.

DH is *cooking* dinner! LOL.

Not sure if everyone is familiar with the other boards here on MyCoupons, but on LGC
http://www.mycoupons.com/boards/lets...okin-save-lgc/ there is typically a daily post on what everyone is making for dinner, for example:
Monday Dinner

FYI,

Yep but cj, those folks actually *cook*! LOL. I do love reading that board though.

Sometimes I get a hankering to really cook a real meal but not very often. I bought a bunch of cool things this week to try out some new recipes... I'm going to try pulled pork in the crock pot for the 4th of July, yum!

No backfire here. I was teasing.

I really don't like to cook. Are there others like me? I'm always so embarrassed to post on the LGC boards because they seem like realllllly realllllly good cooks.

I used to like to cook but it got harder and harder with everyone's likes and dislikes and gradually, I've sort of given up trying. Sad.

I had to run up to CVS to pick up my meds, so I swung by Papa John's. They do a medium one topping for $5 on Mondays. Love it.

Well.....when I got home from work, I made a quick dinner, as usual: steaks on the grill, pan-fried potato slices with onions and peppers, and broccoli. I don't like to cook either.....but it's part of my job, I guess. Since I'm on South Beach, I had tunafish on crisp bread (aka styrofoam) and some broccoli.

Chicken cheese bake with salad. Nothing exciting. I don't like to cook and we seem to have the same things over and over. Blah.

Since my husband isn't home I haven't been cooking much, I'll probably boil some potatoes, maybe eat the leftover butternut squash, and we have plenty of salad stuff left...

DH is grilling some burgers and I made a pasta side to go with it. Nothing too thrilling here.

Tonight is FUN food night. Dh has pot pies, the kids and I have mac n cheese. Easy to make and little clean up. I try and do this once every two weeks or so.
