Not in the insurance field, but did you pay by check? If yes and your bank does not send the checks back to you, you can ask for a copy of the front and BACK of the check. The back is very important, it has information you would need to see where and when it got paid. Good luck

I just quit the insurance field. I worked for a major life insurance company for 2 years. We didn't handle payments though.

Thanks, I'm trying to see if I can see specifically WHO got authorization for a payment. I made a c/c pament over the phone, and it got deducted from my chkg. acct, but, never applied to my insurance policy, and no one in the office wants to have the gahonas to 'fess up aobut it. I'll be making an inperson visit to my (soon to be EX)agent next week.

I am going through that with Comcast right now. I have a confirmation# from them, payment is posted against my check card and then I get a late notice. They can not seem to track the payment with the freaking confirmation# they gave me.

So if they have conf# and can not use them...why have them?
