I am going through that with Comcast right now. I have a confirmation# from them, payment is posted against my check card and then I get a late notice. They can not seem to track the payment with the freaking confirmation# they gave me.

So if they have conf# and can not use them...why have them?

You're lost because this is some little game that was concocted on another board because that other board feels the whole rep points thing is silly. So, they decided to make fun of it by making a contest to see who could get down to 0 rep points first.

As a member of said "other board" this is not a game "concocted" over there. This is a point that Beackratz is making. All the fighting and negitivity there has been on this board over rep points is silly. To prove it Beachratz (and a few others) are going down to negitive to prove that rep points do not mean anything.

How very refreshing! A member of the moderation team here is defending a group (or at least two or three) who have so vehemently blasted Mycoupons! Wow! And all I've heard lately is just how oppressive Mycoupons was to Cici and Suzi! Apparently it's not as bad as all they have made it out to be or you and Addison wouldn't be allowed to be members of the "other board" and defend the other board.

I know exactly what my sig line says and I didn't put the "live" part in there, because it's not part of the quote. I don't generally go around changing quotes to fit my specific purpose. Thanks though for your concern.

Let me make one thing clear: I brought in Addison's name based on posting from the other board by TwoLiveJews who stated in no uncertain terms that they knew who Addison was and that she was a friend (or as they put it "one of us"). Assuming I am incorrect in bringing Addison into this, I apologize to Addison and anyone else that I offended.

Actually the game started here on a post that has been deleted. The game started out if rep points and post counts were incresed on a post that was deleted, would said rep points and post counts disappear. A post was started then deleted by the original poster. She started a spin off thread in which I started my quest for a zero. That post is now gone.

Yes, I have discussed my quest for zero on said "other board" as I knew those girls would hit me and they knew they were safe from me blasting them. If you read the entire thread on the board you would see my mention of the post from here disappearing.

Oh, and as far as making fun of rep points. I think our point was who the heck can figure out how you get them and what do they mean? I mean one person gives me pos and I go to 102, someone else negs me and I go to minus one billion. What math makes one persons pos worth less than 500 and someones neg worth more than a billion?

Nope, I'm a member of several different boards. But here's the thing: What is said on those boards very rarely, if ever, even mentions somone from here.

Yes, the ones about sig lines and avatars seem to revolve around wondering just how long they'll get to stay up over here before they either get deleted or the user gets banned.

And having had a Cici threaten to get my IP and password from here, makes me wonder just how she could accomplish that now, since she's not a mod here anymore Some things that have been said over there have been very nasty and mean. If they don't like MC or like the posters here, why do they continue to come here and bring all their little private jokes, inside jokes, or gang up on a poster that has pissed them off? If they are so happy at their board, what do they need this board for? I'll say in public what I said in a PM to someone: Cici and Suzi got their feelings hurt, and want to whine and complain about it. So, they created their own little board for that purpose! That's great! More power to them. But, it seems like some of the members on the board aren't content unless they are posting here and stirring up the pot. It's like they thrive on making waves and then running the other board to say "did you see what I did?". I know that I am not the most popular poster here, but I keep my posts here. I don't run between two boards trying to start trouble.

1. It was NEVER our intention to make OUR site Anti- MC. That still holds true. We just wanted a place where things of a different nature could be discussed without fear of censorship.

2. MY site ADMINS DID NOT start the whole neg rep thing. That started at THIS SITE. Yes, it was discussed at MY site, by users mutual to BOTH sites, but was started HERE.

3. Non-believer, You have been trouble since BEFORE I left. I know ALL. Just because It not longer says MOD under my name does not mean I can no longer ACCESS INFO. DUH. and you DO run between two board starting trouble. I went to law school, moron. I had to take RESEARCH classes. You live in Texas, only two of MY members do. Do you think it was HARD for me to figure out WHO you were?

4. I received an email from the director of this site asking me if I wanted to remain a MEMBER of THIS site. Why can't we all just get along?? Every SINGLE person on this board that has KNOWN me for ANY amount of time knows that I speak my mind, freely and without regard. I will be the first to call someone out and the first to apologize if I was wrong. Why can't the SPY on my board be a stand up person and admit she's a TOAD?

5. I sincerely apologize to the director, CEO, staff, and moderating team at MC. Again, it was NOT my intention to open an ANTI-MC site. I just wanted to be able to chat freely about adult topics that were deemed innapropriate for this family style, public forum. The fact that there is ONE person at MC that I dislike personally gave me no right to allow the hated to be spewed on MY board. To those that are CURRENT members of MY board- we are still censor free on all OTHER issues but I REFUSE to allow for OUR board to turn into a second MC. ABSOLUTELY NO talk of MC, or it's users will be permitted from this moment on. Honestly, 7 years of this is enough.

To NON members of my board- ALL Are welcome. As long as you are active and participate, you may join us.

Actually they are silly. If they are given for rating traders it would be one thing and have some meaning. But as it given and taken away because you like or don't like a post is riduculous. The whole game came about because of a post I started wondering if your count goes down if a thread is deleted which you posted on and not counting if you delete your own post. I did as one person who responded and deleted the thread and found out the answer and since there were others who posted on the original thread also wondering, I posted the results of the experiment. Now the funny thing about it is the thread was CENSORED by removing it. The ones in charge here don't like people making fun of the rep. The only time I have commented this board at the other board, was when I complained about being censored. I still don't like censorship. Do I still like this board (my coupons)and visit it? Yes I do. Do I like Cici's and Suz's new board, yes I do, because I don't like censorship. They are about free speech. And usually when mycoupons is mentioned anymore, is when someone like you is causing trouble. If you care about what is being said, then go there and post in person. If you don't care then stop causing trouble. You can get your thrills elsewhere.

A friend of mine tried to join and you have to give the name of the person that referred you. Seems pretty much like a "pedigree test" and if you fail...what? You don't get in?

That doesn't fall in with the "ALL are welcome" very much, does it? If they don't like who referred you, if you don't have a referral, or X number of other reasons, what stops them from not allowing you on board? (pardon the pun.) Or just deleting you because it's fun?

I was a bit curious and the idea of free speech piqued me, but not enough to kiss someone's rear end.

Help me to understand why free speech doesn't include non-believer? I seriously don't get it; in fact it confuses the living h*ll out of me. I don't necessarily agree with him/her and his/her approach all the time, but he/she has as much right to his/her opinion as anyone else, no?

Now I'm confused. Who said Non-believer doesn't have free speech.

The problem is all of the PM and the behind the back stuff. And no, I'm not saying that Non-believer is doing this because I have never received a negative PM or anything done behind backs.

The choice now is to play nicely, or run the risk of losing YFB.

PS I really think that this thread will be deleted by morning because of how inflammatory it has become.

PPS. Addison you have done an awesome job as a mod since you took over. You have let threads run a course and on deleted much(that I am aware of) and tried to steer us to safe topic which do not push a lot of buttons.

Just FYI....the post that was deleted was a question on whether deleted posts are counted in a post count or not; it did not refer to rep count at all....the rep point thing must have sprung from something(somewhere) else

FWIW, this is true and what I observed at the "OTHER castle" prior to the deactivation of my account. There were many threads devoted to MyCoupons Cafe subjects. Perhaps the bitterness is blinding. I hope that the focus will turn to building up their new community and discussing the things they wanted to discuss instead of tearing down. and disrupting this community.

As for The Cafe, let's just not take the bait...
