Angry I need a bathing suit!

Can anyone tell me if there are any stores (not online) out there that sell bathing suits only? I just can't seem to find one that fits me well. Do men make these or what? I have fairly big boobies (I love that word) but I can't find a bathing suit with a decent built in bra. I also need this bathing suit to rise up my legs more to make them look longer and not as fat. Where did you get your bathing suit? Please help!

you say not online..but I would try Lands end. They make some very flattering suits that are built for woman. I am sure, even, that you can call the cs and talk to someone who can really help you pick out the best for you figure. Their cs is great. I bought a suit a few years ago after giving birth and breast feeding. The suit fit great. I forget the name of it..I believe it was the tug less tank. Please give them a try..it costs nothing to call and at least speak with a cs.

Casual Clothing, Swimwear, Outerwear and Home Products from Lands' End

good luck

You didn't tell us what size range you are>.......? If you are bigger woman, I was going to suggest Lane Bryant or Avenue. If a smaller woman, I would suggest a Swim & Sport or something like that where you can mix and match the pieces you like.

Then I would definitely hit a specialty store just for swimwear. Do you have a major mall by you that might have a Swim & Sport or an Everything but Water?? That way you can mix & match your pieces.

Next time you have time I would definitely check out Lands End like Cubmom suggested. Although if you are like me (40DD) you want to try them on..... Lands end does have a very good return policy though.

Of course neither of those stores are in PA.

Any departments stores that have a nice bathing suit department?

Dillard's sells suits that are sized by your bra size - they are underwire and several different styles; I got a two piece there, but there were also many one piece (I bought a 36DD)

Exactly what I was going to post!!!

I'd definitely HAVE to try on swimsuits. I go through about 20 before I find one that I like... even with trying them on!

I found a nice one at Ross about a month ago but you know how that goes; hit or miss sometimes.

Landsend.com won't help you as fast as you need but I do highly recommend them. I am plus size and I love their tankinis. Wonderful in the top area. I like that it is 2 piece. You can easily go to the bathroom. and not have to take everything off.

Your stomach is completely covered. The bottom has a built in tummy helper. Lots of colors and styles to choose from. They have high cut legs and legs that cover more.

You can use their web model to "try" on outfits.

I purchased mine from KMart. I bought it in two pieces; tankini top with built in bra and a matching skirt with bikini bottom. It's cute and comfortable. I'm top heavy too.

I found a great one at Kmart.. I usually dont buy clothes from here, but this swimsuit is so nice. It's priced at $32.99, but was 40 or 60% off this week. It's a 1 piece, nice built in bra, although I'm not as lucky as you in the boobie dept, it's got great support. It's the most flatering suit I ever had.

I wish you the best of luck.....I have no great places to tell ya about, but I know how frustrating it can be trying to find a bathing suit, especially one you and your body both like in a short amount of time....

Good Luck....

I've always wanted bigger boobies (I like that word too! ) but, I can see where you would have difficulty finding stuff to fit. Especially when you're talking pantsuits, skirt/jacket combos.

I have to second Land's End.

I always seem to be able to find a suit that fits me suitably by scouring the racks at TJMaxx and Marshalls. I am 38DD on top, size 10/12 on bottom....so similarly proportioned. I like to have somethign with an underwire preferably, soft cup inserts just don't cut it. Best is to find somethign that specifically is sized for D cups. Plus sizes aren't really right either cuz then the hips/waist/butt are too big.
