Hi Everyone, this is my first post to this board...I usually hang out on the garage sale one. Wondering if anyone has some great ideas for a Hannah Montana birthday party -- it's for a 10 year old and will be in October. (I like to plan and start getting the supplies early) My daughter goes to a Christian school, so I'm HOPING the theme won't cause any parents to not let their daughters come -- I watched a few of the shows and it looks totally clean and OK to me.
After two years...we are finally going to start getting child support next month, so I want to go a little crazy with the extra money that month. I'm hoping to rent a limo to drive the girls to the nearby mall and we'll do rock-star makeovers as Justice Just for Girls (would rather Club Libby Lu, but it's too far away), then back to the house for cake/ice cream.
I am planning to do favor bags...I know that Justice will give them a couple things - fake headset microphone and play makeup. I thought I'd try to find fabric drawstring backpacks and print up iron-ons w/ a Hannah Montana picture and "Brier's 10th Birthday Bash" or something like that - need better wording tho.
I ordred a bunch of i-zone cameras (they were cheap since the film is so hard to find) and am getting a roll of sticker film for each -- then maybe inflatable guitars? Oh, also had an idea to burn Hannah Montana music onto CDs and print out custom labels for them that would match the design of the backpack? Glittery temp tattoos?
SO, what do you guys think? I know it's over-the-top (for us anyhow), any better ideas for favors? Should I try to plan on some games? We have Justice booked for 5pm - do I need to plan on feeding the kids dinner do you think? Any suggestions for food (maybe just pizza?)? What about a cake...I don't really like the edible images to put on top for decoration...better ideas?
Ok, sorry this is so long...hope you guys have some help for me!
