Yippee! I found Steve sitting peacefully in the closed trap this afternoon. I took him for a long ride, and set him free. Now, I'll re-set the trap...hoping that he doesn't have any friends or relatives still living with us. BTW, he really seemed to like the marshmallow fluff and dried corn.

For those of you who don't know who Steve is:

I have a chipmunk in my pantry

We will always have fond memories of your little friend Steve. I am glad that he has moved on and hope that he finds joy in his new home. Hopefully he will not come back to visit you and your special Marshmallow fluff corn dinner.

Steve moved into my sister in laws.. We found him this afternoon. I'll tell her to go get some fluff

Oh, I'm SO sorry....I really didn't know that was your SIL's house. Really I didn't. It looked like such a nice place with lots of potential. Steve said he'd be happy there because he was sure they had a well stocked pantry. Ask SIL if she wants to borrow my trap. LOL

I hope that you packed his suitcase with all of those little berets and sweaters that leeleegirl had been working on for him.

I do hope Steve enjoys his new home.

I never posted in the other thread about the chipmunks that my Grandfather had at his cabin in MN, they were named Chip and Dale and they loved ironically corn and marshmallows and the shelled peanuts, they would eat right out my hands as a child, they would follow my Grandfather all over the place he kept food in his pockets just for them he had those little bugger trained I felt bad for them when Grandpa went to FL for the winter always worried they would starve to death but every summer there they were waiting for us to visit or so it seemed.

I do hope that Steve was the only guest you had.

Steve's brother, Steve, packed his bags today.

Uhh, guys Steve is a fast mover because I think I seen him out playing in my yard. He is lucky my puppy didn't see him because her favorite chew toy is a squeaky squirrel and I am sure a live chipmunk would make her one happy pup!!

I will tell Steve that you miss him and need him back in your life desperately and that you are preparing for his homecoming. He will be really excited when I tell him how you are fixing one of the cabinets up to be his new and improved "pad" complete with television, refrigerator, electricity, bathroom and bedroom. Oh and rumor has it that he will most likely ask his new girlfriend to move in with him and he wants it to be special in the bedroom if ya KWIM???? He said no whips or chains please because his last girlfriend was into that kind of kinky stuff and he ended up in the ER needing stitches.

Holy Moly !!! You sure it wasnt his sister Stephanie or his girlfriend?
