Hello! My 13 year old DS is a talented writer...fiction type novels... and I told him I'd ask my network here at The Cafe' if anyone knew anything about getting a book published.
Any direction you can send us in?

'Writers Digest' puts out many books with publisher contacts/acceptance criteria.

I know they have reference books for poetry, songwriting, greeting cards, childrens lit..and probably many more. Each has tons of publishers, complete with names, addresses, what they accept and how to submit. I suspect email addy's have been added in the last years too..they do one a year for each category..

I would suggest your bookstore, or checking online at Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. They are about $25.00 each, hard cover but list just about every publisher that will look at material..so worth it if you son actually gets a contract!
