need help with wording for shower invitation

You know how sometimes there is a notation on a shower invitation about bringing something "extra" like a recipe or a small cleaning product or a paper product or something?

I can't figure out the wording to use -- is it called an entry fee or an admission fee or ???

Thanks for any suggestions.

With cousins and friends...it has always been worded like this:

Let's ALL help Dick and Jane fill their cupboards...bring a recipe and one ingredient from the recipe to help them get started on their new life together! Any questions, please call 555-1212...and then the hostess usually includes a recipe card to remind the guests about the request.

emie79 - that is a really good idea. I haven't been to a lot of things like this and haven't seen this one done yet. This sounded great.

When we wanted smaller items we would call it a "wishing well". You would bring something like for the gadgets part of your kitchen..spatula, kitchen shears, can openers, things like that. Sometimes people brought laundry detergent, kitchen dish detergent, sponges, clothes pin.

I really like the recipe idea though. I got a homemade recipe book made from people bringing in their favorites which my office put together, and that and my Betty Crocker got me through my first two years of cooking until I got the hang of it, and became a cookbook/and cooking junkie and went exploring myself.

For my shower, they asked for cleaning products. I don't know how it was worded but they bought me a large outdoor trashcan and filled it with the products and then they decorated a broom as my "maid".
